Derek: Any thoughts about the job? You would have to do it with someone else. I’m not available.
Finn: We can do it. I have the right people for it. The facilities in New York are ready. We can start meeting there to train at least four times a week. Thoughts?
Derek: Let’s start next month. The new recruits should be here by then.
Finn: Are you finding them jobs too?
Derek: I said I would. We’re not going to have them idle without pay until we have a mission.
Finn: So you get them lives?
Derek: Yes. I’ll even let them pick where they want to live within the fifty states.
Finn: Phillip has a few guys he wants us to interview. One of them is a former Delta force. Are we hiring any of your SEAL friends?
Derek: I’ll place a call when the facilities are one hundred percent ready.
Finn: Keep me posted. I have to go into a meeting.
Derek: Didn’t you hire someone to do your dirty ‘corporate’ job?
Finn: The meeting is with him. After that, I have to talk to Dad. It seems as if he has fallen in love.
Derek: You’re getting a new mommy?
Finn: A second dad. The guy is cool, but I think this is too fast. Charles is threatening to stay in Costa Rica.
Derek: Is this why you sent the first recruits to work there?
Finn: Yes, my main goal is to keep my family safe.
Derek: At least it’s not Zamudio.
Finn: I already told you he’s a secondary character. If I get to destroy him, that’s great. If not, I don’t give a shit.
Derek: Sure, I’ll believe it in twenty years when he’s still alive, and you’re not fuming because you had to think about him.
Finn: Take care of yourself, D.
February 10th,9:41 p.m. EST
Derek: How was your solo mission?
Finn: It sucked.
Derek: Are you injured?
Finn: No, but the guy I worked with has a sense of humor. I wanted to shoot the fucker.
Derek: You have to take anger management classes.
Finn: You sound like my father.
Derek: If two people are telling you something is wrong, maybe… something is wrong.
Finn: Whatever. I’ll be in Heartwood Lake training with Walter and some of our recruits.
Derek:Don’t kill anyone.
