“An apartment complex. This one is for forty apartments.” Derek waved his hands at the paper.

“I don’t get it. Rich and Elite don’t live in apartments.” I scrunched up my face. “Not to mention the homeless can’t afford it.”

“That’s why we aren’t charging them. When the economy changed apartments were either destroyed or abandoned. Not anymore. This will be the first of many.” Aiden smirked.

I wrapped my arms around him and squeezed. “This is perfect. I love you gu...ahhh.”

All three surrounded me. “What’s wrong?”

“My water,” I grunted.

“Oh, you need water?” Derek turned toward the door. “Pat!”

“No, no.” I grabbed my stomach. “My water broke.”

“Really?” Aiden paled.

I nodded grunting through another contraction.

Jason flipped open his phone just as Pat rushed into the room. He shut the phone. “Perfect timing. Pat, can you get the doctor? The twins are coming.”
