My chest heaves. “He was going to put your dick in his mouth. He was talking shit.”

He inhales deeply, his hands coming to rest on my hips. “Don’t start a game you can’t see through to the end, Kaspian.” His lips touch my ear and he whispers, “I will always win.”

A shiver runs down my spine, and the guy in front of us wiggles, trying to get away from my grip. Ezra steps away and returns with the flask Diego must’ve forgotten in his haste to leave. I watch as he twists a small metal cap off the pendant of his necklace and pours the liquid from the vial into the flask.

He comes around and stops in front of the man, reaching out to gently guide my hand away from his face.

When he no longer has a piece of glass pressed against his lips, he opens his mouth to scream. Ezra shoves the flask between his teeth and effortlessly yanks him down with his other hand, cradling him as he gets him to the floor.

The man coughs and sputters, choking on the liquor. Ezra pulls the flask away momentarily, holding his hand over the man’s mouth until he swallows. He does it one more time, pouring the remaining liquid down his throat.

Ezra straddles him, hand clamped over his lips so he can’t make any noise.

“What did you give him?”

“GHB.”

After about ten minutes, the man’s movements slow. He doesn’t try to buck Ezra off of him, and his eyes begin to droop.

Ezra stands up. “We gotta go. They’ll just think he got wasted.”

“No. We can’t leave him here. He could still tell people what happened.”

I watch as he rolls over, trying to push himself up, making noises.

“He’s had a lot to drink, plus with what I just gave him, he’s not going to be capable of making much sense soon. Plus, I never said we were leaving him.”

We stare at each other for a few seconds before my lips form a wicked grin. Ezra returns it and makes my heart flutter.

Ezra

ChapterTwenty

After Kaspian gets dressed, we clean up the mess from the shattered bowl, putting the glass in the trash and the condoms in a drawer. Working together, we get the blond guy up on his feet. The drug mixed with alcohol can have serious effects, and it doesn’t take long to kick in. Right now, he’s drowsy and confused, so we can get away with saying he just had too much to drink. Soon, he could start vomiting or pass out.

Like two good friends, we have his arms around our shoulders as we get him out of the room and into the darkened corridor. Luckily, there aren’t many people lingering in the hall. It’s not like these rooms are for voyeurs.

“Is there a back exit?” I ask Kaspian.

“Yeah, but you’re not supposed to use it. It’ll trigger an alarm. We can go out the front. It’ll be fine.”

The man mumbles a few things as we pass people, but he can hardly form the words correctly or speak coherently. They’ll never know he’s begging for help. He doesn’t have it in him to even look frightened.

“What’s going on?” a voice asks as we hit the front door.

“Master Blake,” Kaspian says, angling his head over his shoulder.

The man is in black leather pants and a tight black shirt that’s sheer down the middle. He looks angry, his pale face set in a scowl as he assesses the situation.

“What’s happening here?” he asks again, getting a look at the blond.

“Stupid idiot had drugs on him,” Kaspian says. “I walked in on him popping a few pills and downing it with his own liquor.”

“Fuck!” the man curses.

“Don’t worry,” Kaspian says. “We’re getting him out of here so it won’t fall on you or the club.”

“Nick. Is he new?” Master Blake asks, pointing to the bald guard at the door.
