"Congratulations. You must be excited."

He nodded his head, taking a step towards her. "How is everything else going? Can you head out?"

She wished. She looked around, having been standing in the open room now. She'd checked all the rooms, and there were just a few more games going. Once everyone was done, she was free to leave.

"There are a few left. So I have to stick around."

He nodded, giving her a kiss on her forehead. "That's okay. I'm going to go to the bathroom and maybe grab a soda from the bar."

She smiled as he turned. She enjoyed the fact he was going to stick around and wait so they could start their third date. It made her giddy with excitement.

She thanked a few more people as their game ended, wishing those who did advance good luck. She helped the workers clear out their room and found Benton working on a soda at the bar.

"I have just one more room going," she said, walking toward him. He swiveled in his chair and leaned back into the bar. She watched his biceps bulge, and she internally moaned.

He has to be doing this on purpose. The smirk on his face says so.

"So what do we want to do after this?"

She had to think of something different for them to do, and. She also knew there was more around here for them to do besides what Benton had offered earlier. She liked his idea, however, and it was in the back of her mind stirring away.

Who doesn't want to have some, quote-on-quote, fun time?

She shook her head. "How about Patoka Lake and renting a boat? I've done it a few times, and it's so refreshing when you get the boat going and just take in the air."

She smiled, still knowing how it got her blood pumping. If she could have a lake, she'd hands down build one.

Benton seemed skeptical about the idea and raised an eyebrow at her. "You want to rent a boat?"

"Yeah, what's wrong with that idea? What, are you afraid of the water?"

He snorted and shook his head. "No, but I think you're missing the irony to this. Tigers don't normally go around water." He reached his hand out, pulling her closer to him. "I just think it's interesting. Does someone want to see what a wet tiger looks like?"

She knew he was teasing, and while yes, the idea sounded crazy, it wasn't. From around these parts, it was normal.

"I beg to differ," she said, giving him a grin. "While tigers might not be huge water animals, they can still be natural born swimmers and even like the water. Besides this is Indiana. We have a lot of lakes, so you don't have a choice sometimes. But if you don't like the idea ..."

He shook his head, pulling her even closer. She could feel the heat of his hands through her shirt. "I love the idea. I just think it was a little different than what I expected."

"What were you expecting?"

He smirked. "Honestly, I had no idea but certainly not that."

She chuckled when she heard the last door open. She looked over her shoulder, seeing the final game had ended. And in a few minutes, she was a free woman.

After she thanked the players and helped the workers clean up the room, she ordered some finger sandwiches and fresh fruit to have on the boat. She also knew of a great picnic spot that most people weren’t aware of.

"You know how Patoka Lake is the biggest and the most popular lake, right?" she told Benton as they waited for their food.

He gave her a smile. "Yeah, so I guess there will be a lot of people."

"Yes and no." She gave him a grin. "It's not the shape of a normal lake, so there are a lot of nooks and crannies where you can hide, and because you are so lucky to know me, you will have a great hiding spot."

He gave her a grin, seeming almost just as eager.

They packed up their food and headed out. Benton drove while she gave him directions, and before they knew it, they arrived at the lake. They went inside the small store at the marina and rented a boat for the remainder of the day.

They packed everything in, and since Benton didn't know how to drive the boat, she did. She started the craft and got it out onto open water before she started to pick up the pace.
