She loved having the wind in her hair and just feeling free. She glanced at Benton, seeing he was smiling as well. He loved it too.

She suddenly could see a future with Benton. She could see herself getting married to him and having children. She could see them all taking trips and going on the open water.

She wanted her kids to know how to swim, and she could imagine them in the water splashing around. She wanted a lot of children, ranging in age. And she suddenly couldn't wait to grow old with Benton knowing they lived a full life.

"What are you smirking about?" Benton asked, pulling her gaze away from the water.

She smiled back at him. "Just thinking about the future is all. So, thoughts on riding in a boat?"

He looked around. "I could get used to this."

His words sent excitement over her entire body. She liked the sound of that.

She went aground to her little hiding spot. While she was sure others knew about it, no one was there today. She smiled, tying the boat up and stepping into their open space.

It was covered in trees, but once you stepped past the trees, you entered a small meadow. It wasn't grand, but the burst of color always caught her attention.

Benton whistled behind her. "Wow, this is lovely over here."

"Isn't it?" She turned, seeing he had grabbed the food and a blanket for them to sit on. Benton unfolded the blanket while she unboxed their food.

They both sat and ate. She looked over the view, taking it in. Her eyes floated toward Benton. "Now you know about a secret hiding spot. I'm sure there are others, but you know this one."

"And I think this one is the best," he said, taking a bite of his sandwich. "And the trees are starting to change color. It's really something. How'd you find it?"

She wished she had a nice story, but she didn't. "Honestly, three years ago, I was on a boat, and I really needed to pee. So I pulled off and just happened to stumble far enough to see this."

Benton laughed, and she softly kicked him. She shook her head, looking away. "Laugh it up, but my small bladder found me a wonderful spot to get away, and I will not be mocked for it."

Benton chuckled, shaking his head. "You're right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't laugh."

He smirked at her, and she relaxed, feeling Benton made it easy. She liked how they could laugh together, and they just seemed to click.

Understandable as they were fated for each other. It just made it easier on herself. She could be herself.

Time ticked by, and the sun started to set. She leaned into Benton and sighed. They would have to take the boat back, and then what? She suddenly thought about Benton's question while they were texting that morning. Was she open for sex?

She was very much tempted to allow herself to relax and want him. She did want him, but she had so much to do still. He needed to focus on the game, and she had another early morning. If she allowed them to sleep together, she didn't see herself wanting to leave him anytime soon.

Benton looked at her, seeing the shift in the air. "What's wrong?"

She looked at him, unsure of how she should explain herself. Was he going to be insulted if she didn't want to sleep with him? They were fated, so it shouldn't be that hard to agree to wait.

"I'm just thinking about what you said earlier."

"What did I say earlier?"

“That we could do something fun after the match." She ran her hands through her hair. "And I don't think us having sex is a great idea."

He gave her a gentle smile. "Opal, we don't have to have sex if you don't want to."

"It's not that I don't want to, I just have so much to do, and that could break my focus."

He chuckled, giving her forehead a kiss. "We don't have to, and besides, I don't have sex when I'm in the middle of a tournament."

She looked a little shocked. "Wait, what?"

"It's true. I don't allow myself to orgasm."
