“That won’t happen,” he replies, not breaking eye contact for a moment before leading me down the corridor again. “None of us is seeing anyone,” he adds before stopping outside another door. “This is your room,” he announces before opening the door and reaching around the frame to switch on the light.

Inside is the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen. In the middle is a four-poster bed with curtains tied to each of the posts. The bedding is white and baby blue, my favourite colours, and looks freshly made. There’s a bookcase to one side of the room, next to a bay window, which is padded with cushions so someone could sit and look out to what I guess is the grounds.

Jason lets go of my hand and walks further into the room before placing my bag on the floor by the bed. He heads to a door and opens it turning on another light.

“This is your bathroom; it has everything you need so you don’t have to share with anyone else.” He turns and walks over to a door on the other side of the room and opens it. “Here’s your wardrobe, there are drawers in there as well and space for shoes. Someone will take you back to that flat tomorrow to get the rest of your things.”

“There’s not much left to get,” I admit quietly. I don’t look at Jason, but I swear I hear him growl a little.

“Well either way one of us will take you tomorrow,” he says before moving to stand in front of me. He places a finger under my chin forcing me to look at him. “This is your home now, your private space. If there’s anything you don’t like or want to change let us know and we’ll get it done.”

I can’t bring myself to reply so I just nod. Jason leans forward and places a kiss on my cheek which brushes against the side of my lips.

“Get sorted, I’ll be back in ten minutes, and we can go to speak to the others.”

“Isn’t it too late?” I worry, but Jason shakes his head.

“It’s never too late when it comes to you,” he replies quietly before walking away to leave the room.

“Thank you,” I whisper as I turn to face the door. Jason turns back to me and smiles.

“You never need to thank me for looking after you Jazzy, your safety and well-being are everything to the four of us. We just need you to trust us and be honest.” Before I can say anymore Jason walks out of the door and closes it behind him, leaving me in my new room, alone.

I stand staring at the door for a moment, my body frozen as panic rushes through me. My heart’s racing and I feel sick to my stomach, this isn’t how I expected my day to end. I take a deep breath reminding myself I’m safe with the guys, I’ve always been safe with them.

I slowly turn to look at the room. Everything about it is perfect, from the white walls and the bed to the decoration. I pick up my bag to place it on the bed before stopping myself. I’m scared to mark the bright white crisp bedding. I notice a chair on the other side of the room and quickly walk to it for somewhere to rest my bag. From inside I pull out my pyjamas and wash bag before placing them on the bed ready for later.

I walk into the wardrobe with my remaining items and freeze. My jaw drops at the sheer size of it. My whole apartment would fit in here, there is so much storage space. I place my bag on the bench in the middle of the floor; yes, it’s so big in here it fits a freaking bench! How much stuff do they think one person needs? There again knowing the guys they probably have enough clothes to fill this space and more, Christian definitely will with how many designer suits I bet he owns.

I quickly hang up the one change of clothes I brought with me before closing the doors on the monstrosity. I grab my wash bag and head into the bathroom and again stop in my tracks. Is anything about this house small, or even average size? The bath stands alone in the middle of the room, I’m not short by any means but even at five foot nine I bet I could stretch out in it and my toes would only just touch the end. What I would give to sink into it right now and forget everything that’s happening. I force myself to turn away from the bath and shower on the other side of the room and walk over to the twin sinks. Everything in here is white marble and I’m terrified of dirtying anything. I quickly wash my face and am just drying it carefully on the softest white towels when I hear Jason call my name.

“Coming,” I call back before carefully folding the towel and placing it on the side where I found it.

I open the bathroom door to see him standing in my room, watching me as I walk out.

“You ready to go down?” he asks as he offers me a small smile. I start chewing on my bottom lip and can’t quite manage to nod. Jason walks up to me and pulls me into his arms. Leaning my cheek against his chest I inhale the smell of his aftershave to calm my racing heart. “You’re not in any trouble Jazzy, we aren’t mad. We’ve been worried about you. But no matter what you tell us, we will not get angry. We just wish you had come to us, rather than hide how you were living.”

I nod because I know I should have come to them from day one, a part of me has picked up the phone every day since everything started going wrong to ask them for help. But I’m too stubborn and couldn’t bring myself to admit that I was failing, that I needed someone other than myself.

“Can we get this over with?” I whisper into Jason’s chest. I feel him nod and kiss the top of my head.

“Come on, everyone’s in the sitting room downstairs.” Jason steps away from me and holds out his hand, I take it and he interlocks our fingers as he leads me out of the room.

On the way Jason points towards Christian’s door and the twin’s rooms on the other side of the building, he also informs me that there are more rooms upstairs.

“Who used to use the room I’m in?”

“It has always been your room,” Jason answers, before glancing at me as he carries on walking. “We’ve been asking you to come for years, but you’ve never accepted. But we always hoped you would eventually,” Jason offers me a quick smile as we reach the bottom of the stairs. I don’t pay much attention to anything else around us, all I can think about is the fact the guys decorated that room for me.

We come to a stop outside of a large dark wooden door and I suddenly feel like I’m going to be sick. I take a step back and Jason turns to look at me.

“Jazzy, do you think any of us would do anything to hurt or upset you?” he asks quietly. I shake my head and step back beside him. “Good girl, come on,” he whispers opening the door as I grasp both my hands around his letting him lead me inside.

As we walk into the room I spot Christian, Sean and Maximus sitting on two leather couches in the centre of the room. Between them is a coffee table the same colour as the couches. Across the back wall is a bookcase which fills the whole width of the room. I see Christian go to stand as they all turn to face us, but Jason holds out his hand to stop him. Christian looks down at our joined hands and nods, before leaning back into the sofa.
