He laughs like he’s embarrassed. “I work out. A little.”

He chuckles before taking me in his arms. “I love you, Willow. I wake up every morning feeling like the happiest person in the world. I’m so thankful for you every day.”
I kiss his cheek. “I feel the same way. How are your parents doing?”
His face lights up. “We’re doing great. Therapy has been very good for us. We’re getting so close to being the family we used to be. I canfeelit.”
I close my arms around him and hug him close. “I’m so happy for you.”
“It’s all because of you. I can’t wait to spend every single moment with you and grow even closer to you.”
“I feel the same way.”
We share a deep and passionate kiss.
“Willow, Colt, put on your swimsuits!” Lily calls. “We’re going to play chicken.”
“Watch Aidan and me smoke your butts!” Ava says.
“Not before Liam and I smoke yours!” Chloe says.
“Did you say a competition?” I ask. “I’m there.”
“Wait.” Colt grabs my hand before I hurry to change. “Kiss for good luck?”
I beam. “You don’t have to ask me twice.”

Chapter Thirty-Eight
Willow
“Congrats!” I fling my arms around Colt. “I’m so proud of you, my genius boyfriend.”
He draws back, smiling crookedly. “You’rethe genius, my beautiful Willow.”
“Who just won first place at this year’s coding competition?” I playfully demand.
He slides his hands into mine. “The judges said it was so close between Your Perfect Friend and Personal Tutor. You deserve this trophy just as much as I do.”
I throw my arms around him again. “I’m so happy for you.”
He holds me close to his chest. “Thanks so much, Tech Queen.”
I laugh. “Of course, Mr. Popular.”
He frowns. “Not really Mr. Popular anymore.”
“You’ll always be Mr. Popular to me. The most popular guy in my heart. Ugh. Was that lame?”
He kisses my cheek. “It was perfect.”
A crowd gathers around us, all of our friends, family, Colt’s mom and dad rushing to congratulate him. They smile at him with love shining in their eyes and he’s glowing. I know he feels his sister’s presence right now and I bet she’s super proud of him, too.
