I shook my head and smiled. “This is where we were always meant to get married. It just took us a little while to get here.”

“I can honestly say it was well worth the wait.”

Teo’s thumb gently ran little circles over my knuckle as he gazed at me. The officiant began the ceremony, but I barely heard a word of it, my focus fully on Teo, lost in his eyes. The spell was only slightly disrupted when Nic handed Teo the rings and we placed the white gold bands on each other.

I glanced back at Teo, and his gaze softened as he mouthed the words ‘I love you’and I returned them to him.

“I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.” The officiant barely got the last of the words from his mouth before Teo pounced on me, cradling the back of my head as he dipped me into a deep, passionate kiss that elicited several whoops and hollers from the small crowd. He stood me back upright and everyone applauded.

My heart swelled almost to bursting as I stood there. We’d finally managed to get married. I was his and he was mine and I couldn’t have been any happier. Teo squeezed his arm around my waist, pulling me tighter against him as he lowered his lips to my ear.

“Now you’re all mine.”

I looked up at him, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

After some photos at the gorge, our family and friends gathered along the sides of the path back toward the cars, everyone grinning as they threw flower petals up into the air as Teo and I headed for the car. When we reached the top of the hill a long black limo waited for us.

“You got us a limo?” I looked at Teo with delight.

"You didn't think I was going to waste any time driving my bride back to the hotel did you? This way I can have you all to myself for the entire ride." Teo's eyes lit up again with a wolfish grin and my heart kicked up a few beats.

The driver opened the door and Teo escorted me inside immediately pushing the button to close the privacy screen. We would have roughly two hours before we arrived back at the hotel.

"Champaign?" Teo asked as he pulled out two glasses.

"Yes, please."

He poured us each a glass and handed one to me. I took a sip of my champagne but was quickly distracted by Teo’s lips trailing hot kisses down my neck and to my shoulder. I nearly dropped my glass as my head fell to the side with a moan. Teo placed my champagne to the side while letting his lips continue their exploration, gently tugging at the neckline of my dress to get better access.

"Teo," I moaned as he reached back and unzipped my dress, allowing his mouth to descend over my breast and my back arched.

"I have two hours with you, and I don't want to waste a moment. Now take off this dress."

After nearly two hoursof ecstasy, Teo and I lay tangled and breathless in the seat of the limo. We would be having a small family dinner in lieu of a big reception until we got home. There we would have the large traditional reception with family, friends, andthe familyalong with a few important associates.

"As much as I hate to say this, we should probably get cleaned up and dressed before we arrive. Not that I would mind, but I'm sure that you wouldn't want our guests knowing what we've been up to."

"Mm," I hummed out an incoherent response, and Teo's chest jumped under my cheek as he laughed.

"Come on,la mia bellissima moglie."

He moved, stirring me from my sedated state and began helping me clean up and dress which was challenging in the back of the limo.

I did my best to tame my mussed hair and smudged makeup before we pulled up to the hotel.

We were just stepping inside when Vittoria spotted me and hurried over. "I'd ask what took you two so long, but I think your hair and makeup says it all." She chuckled.

I self-consciously ran my fingers over my hair. "Is it that bad?"

"It won't be when I get done with it. Come with me."

I flashed Teo a smile as Vittoria pulled me toward the women's bathroom.

A few stray strands of hair re-secured and makeup touched up and I was ready to join the party. I stepped outside of the bathroom and into the foyer where Teo stood, talking intensely to Enzo.

He stopped and smiled at me as I approached. "Better, now?"

I nodded. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?"
