He placed his hand on my leg, under the table. My dress rode up so that his fingers brushed against the tender, bare flesh, and I sucked in a quick breath, so affected by even the smallest touch from him.

"You're too good to me." My words came out breathy as his hand slipped under my dress and began moving higher until he was barely an inch from the apex of my thighs.

"Just making up for all I've put you through."

"You didn't—"

"Still. Just let me spoil you." He slipped a finger under the lace fabric of my panties and brushed against my dampened mound.

“Teo,” I breathed out while glancing around at the other tables filled with people. “Someone will see.”

“No one is going to notice as long as you sit still and keep quiet.”

He slipped a finger inside my wet folds and I gasped, biting my lip to stay quiet. “Teo...”

“Shh,” he softly shushed me, leaning in so that his warm breath tickled my ear. “Already so wet for me.”

He moved his finger, excruciatingly slow at first but quickly built up his tempo as he slid another thick digit inside. I gasped and squirmed in my seat. I glanced around, half expecting everyone on the boat to be staring at us but everyone was too taken in by the views of the city.

“Teo...please?” I wasn’t sure if I was begging him to stop or to keep going but he quickened his pace.

Teo thrust his fingers harder and faster. I gripped the edge of the table, trying to force myself to stay still when all I wanted to do was buck my hips and take him deeper. My body was wound as tight as a spring, coiled and ready to burst yet Teo didn’t relent.

“Teo...” I warned as I neared climax.

“Shh. Hold on for just a moment longer, bellissima.”

We neared another bridge. As per custom, everyone began cheering as the boat swept under the bridge and with perfect timing, Teo sent me over the edge. White lights exploded behind my eyes, and I bit my lip hard to keep from crying out.

As we emerged from the other side of the bridge, Teo withdrew his fingers, and pulled me close. I sagged against him, panting as my heart hammered against my chest. Teo just looked down at me with a satisfied smirk.

After our cruise, we took advantage of the beautiful night, strolling along the city streets and taking in all the lights of the city.

I tried to hide my yawn as I grew sleepy. The pregnancy seemed to take a lot of my energy.

"Seems like I need to get you to bed."

"I'm sorry. Who knew a little tiny peanut of a baby could be this exhausting?"

We turned down a small, quiet side street toward the hotel when another pedestrian bumped into me. I startled but when I went to jump back, I realized he had a grip on my arm and his hand tightened around my bicep.

Teo whirled around just as the man tugged me against him with my back to his chest, his forearm across my neck, and a knife in his hand.

"Don't try anything," the man warned. "Empty out your pockets. Wallet, money clip, watch...put it all in the lady's purse." He gave me a little squeeze. "Go ahead, pretty thing, hold your bag out for him."

"Teo..." I trembled but did my best to remain calm and held my purse out as I locked eyes with Teo.

"It's okay. Everything's going to be okay." Teo kept his gaze set on me as he slowly pulled out his wallet and stuck it in my purse. He unfastened his watch and slipped it into my bag as well.

He moved slowly with smooth motions that spoke to his steel nerves while I trembled like a leaf in a strong breeze.

For the first time, Teo's eyes flicked down to the man's arm across my neck and there was a flash of worry in his eyes that made me panic. Teo was always so confident, anything less was usually cause for concern.

“Alright, I’m going to reach for my money clip,” Teo spoke in a calm voice, though there was something that made me nervous in his eyes.

He slowly reached into the inner pocket of his blazer and pulled out a gold money clip with a thick wad of euro notes. Teo's chest rose and fell with a deep breath as he slowly extended his hand toward my hand bag. He dropped the money inside but instead of pulling his hand back, he moved it up at lightning speed.

Everything moved so quickly that I hardly knew what was happening until I was standing behind Teo who had our assailant pinned to the brick wall of the alley with his arm pinned behind his back. The man’s knife was discarded on the ground, and Teo pressed his gun to the man’s temple.
