“It was a party, so I serviced three packs—alphas, betas, and omegas.” She spoke so quickly and to the point, giving the details she knew Crystal wanted.

“Her performance was highly praised, and she made me quite a bit of money. Thank god it’s hidden from all that’s going on at home.” Crystal smirked. “You didn’t ruin my entire life, don’t worry.”

“There’s still time,” I said. “I’m going to get every one of these omegas out and put you in jail for life. Just wait until the inmates hear what you’re in for.”

Crystal’s smile fell, and raw fury took its place. She snapped her hand out, slapping me hard across the face. I was still held by her goons, so my head snapped to the side but I couldn’t back away.

“How dare you threaten me! In case you missed it, Bailey,I’mthe one who matters here. You’re nothing,” she bit out, her voice rising into a banshee shriek.

“Let’s see what we have in store for you, shall we?” She nodded at another door, and they led me out. The hallway beyond was filled with the sounds of sex and torture.

Viewing windows built into the doors gave me small glimpses of what was happening beyond. It wasn’t long before I let my gaze drop just like the omegas we’d left behind. I couldn’t stomach watching this.

The Garrison was just a coverup.Thiswas the base of their entire operation. They’d used its underbelly to create an omega’s hell, making money off of it while their souls crumbled.

I wanted to burn it to the ground, ending every one of the men and women involved. Cyrus’ rage seemed so controlled for what this place deserved.

Cyrus.

I couldn’t imagine the pain he’d feel when he found out that this was where I ended up. Both of his omegas had ended up in this ring’s clutches, but I was determined to not let the horrors here drown me. They had a tracker… I wouldn’t be here long.

They stopped when we reached an office of sorts. A security room was off to one side, where uniformed men watched the camera feeds. What kind of sick fuck would take a job like that?

The desk was lined with several monitors, and she plopped down in the chair, signing into the network and pulling up a profile on a screen that faced me. They’d already created one for me. My office ID picture was right in the corner, along with every bit of information they could find, down to the fake credentials, my age, and even the onset of my heat, though that last one was wrong.

“See this number?” She gestured to an icon in the corner. It was a star with the number one hundred and thirty next to it. “That’s the number of bids you got, and I haven’t even posted it past our inner circle yet.”

“You’re all sick!” My stomach dropped with the realization that I’d walked right into the lions’ den, and they were about to eat me alive.

She clicked on it, so I could read the comments and the insane amounts of money they were throwing at me.

I’ve been waiting to taste this omega.

She’s like a deer in headlights. This would be the perfect omega to break.

Easiest money I’ve ever spent. I may leave the pack behind for this. She was quick to please. Take that for what you will.

I hope there are tears. It’s so much sweeter when they cry.

They goaded each other on like this was a game.

“She just hit fifty thousand,” Crystal sang out triumphantly. “At this rate, Crystal Burke can disappear, but I’ll still live my life of luxury. All thanks to you, Bailey. Because no matter who wins, the others will bid for round two, then three. It will never end. I will sell your flesh, and it will be the highlight of my career here.”

“Thank you, that was exactly what we needed.” My jaw dropped at the sound of Laura’s voice. “You did well, Bailey. You’re safe now.”

ChapterThirty-One

Bailey

“Bailey!” I heard Cyrus’ voice before my pack pushed past Laura, nearly taking her down. More men filtered in, and the new group took down Crystal and her bodyguards.

“You’re safe,” Sterling breathed out like a prayer. His voice shook, so I held him tight, letting them pass me from one to the next, then finally back to Cyrus.

My strong pack was shaken. I didn’t know the details yet, but they were barely keeping it together. I couldn't tell the difference between their relief or mine.

“Why are you here?” I asked Laura as I turned away from the guys for a moment.

“You succeeded in the second part of your mission, Bailey. Let me reintroduce myself as your handler,” she said, holding a hand out.
