I smile at her, trying to let my thoughts show.

“Itty Bitty, girl, you have no idea all that you are. Any guy would be nuts not to want to spend time with you. Now, on that subject, I really want to continue talking and getting to know each other, if you’re interested. You’ve caught my eye, girl. What’s your thoughts? Don’t worry about my feelings, just be honest, only way this will have any hope of working. I’ll do my very best to try and come out to see you as soon as I can. And maybe if your club comes out to us, you’ll tag along to see your boyfriend.”

A huge smile appears on her face while her eyes start to twinkle. She’s nodding vigorously, which brings a laugh out of me. God, she’s so friggin’ cute.

“Well, Presley, you’re all right and since you have the hots for me, I guess I can pick up the phone when you call… umph.”

By the time Hannah realizes what I’m about to do, it’s too late. I have her in my arms, my hands at her sides. I start to tickle her, and she squirms like a worm before she starts screaming and laughing. I don’t let up and pretty soon she’s screaming “Uncle” and “Presley, I’m going to pee my pants, stop.” When I finally stop, her face is bright red, snot is running out of her nose, and tears down her face. And she’s never looked prettier.

She reaches down, pulling her T-shirt up to wipe her face and God Almighty, I almost lose it in my jeans. Man, this woman is going to be the death of me, for sure. Maybe it’s best we will be states apart because if I have to see her every day, it might kill me.

“Not fair, Presley, you’re big and stronger. You’re real lucky that I didn’t wet myself. God, that would be so embarrassing, walking around with a big spot on my pants. You’re so mean, I swear to God, if you weren’t so frigging cute—”

To shut her up, I reach down, grab her cheeks, kissing her first softly. Then as I lick the seam in her lips, she tentatively opens and, damn, I’m like a man starving. She tastes sweet and so innocent. She follows my lead and time stands still. My hands roam down her sides, but I don’t put them anywhere where they shouldn’t be. She’s on her tiptoes trying to get more of me. Well honestly, Hannah’s about to climb me, so gently after a few pecks, I place my hands on her shoulders, separating us. She looks at me with those puppy eyes and, damn, I want to give her anything she wants. Well, except sex. That’s going to be a very slow burn. Hannah and I have nothing but time on our hands.

Holding her hand, we walk around the entire waterfront before we go back to the cabin. Some of our group is sitting by the firepit so we join them to enjoy the rest of the evening. When I grab us two folding chairs, Hannah pushes them closer together. After we both sit, she grabs my hand, putting it in her lap, covering it with both hands. Yeah, this could definitely work. Only time will tell.

THIRTY-ONE

‘HANNAH’

SQUIRT/ITTY BITTY

Wow. Between dinner, the walk, and spending time by the fire last night, I think I’m falling for Presley. He’s all that and a bag of chips. Before he said goodnight to go bunk with the Grimm Wolves brothers, he pulled me to the side of the cabin, and we made out forever. With his hot body and perfect lips, that he definitely knows how to use, he drove me wild and crazy. I have no experience with men, well, except that Dylan guy. Oh shit, if Presley does become a prospect with the Grimm Wolves, he’s going to hear about Dylan and me. Oh well, I’m sure he’s no angel.

My mind goes back to making out. And, man, it was so much better than all those books I read. There have been times when I’ve read a hot scene that made me so want to find me my own man. Well, guess what, I’ve found one who really wants me, if the bulge in his jeans is any proof. It’s really hard to believe, but who am I to question it. I know Maggie had Raven check him out already. Not only Presley but also Karma too. What a story, from the little I’ve been told, Karma has his hands full with Calum, but he’s a stand-up guy and so is Presley.

Not wanting to be late since he’s coming to get me so we can go grab some breakfast before we all go out on the boats, I jump up wanting to go take a shower. Opening the door, I see Dani sitting on the sofa, head in a book.

“Dani, don’t tell me you haven’t been to bed yet? Holy shit, how are you going to make it through the day on the boat? Make sure not to fall asleep in the sun, girl, with your fair skin, you’ll be a damn lobster.”

We both laugh at the picture I’ve put in both of our heads. After making sure she doesn’t need it, I start my day off with my usual routine: brush my teeth, rinse my face, go potty, then I walk into the shower after I heated up the water.

With my head tilted back, as I wet my hair my mind wanders to last night. Presley is like something out of one of my dreams. No one, especially a guy, can be that perfect, can they? All I know is I feel safe with him. He listens, doesn’t talk over me or just brag about himself, and is fun to be around. He’s playful and doesn’t act like an old person. Well, he’s not, but sometimes I feel like I’m such a child around everyone in my life because they are so mature and focused. And them treating me like I’m eight doesn’t help.

I wonder if my three musketeers have ever been involved with someone. Maybe they can give me some advice. I really like Presley, but the odds are against us. Plus, when I was with Dylan, Auntie Zoey told me not to even give men any thoughts until I get my three patches from the club. That can take anywhere from a year or who knows how long. I’m so frigging confused.

Grabbing my shampoo, I wash then condition my hair. Picking up my razor, I pass it over my legs, underarms, and my bikini line. Don’t want any strays peeking out or making their presence known. Can you imagine someone thinks you have something on your upper thigh and it’s a tight and curly.

That thought has me giggling, which turns into full-blown laughter. Damn did that feel good, no great. As much trouble as I can imagine I’m in, this trip was exactly what the doctor ordered. After Auntie Zoey’s kidnapping, needed to let my hair down and just be a young woman hanging with her friends looking for some excitement not a prospect in a motorcycle club. Timber-Ghost it’s not a happening place, though I’ve come to love it and the people who live there. Not a day goes by that I don’t thank the powers above for Auntie Zoey walking into that dump I was living in and rescuing me. She saved my life.

Finishing up, I grab two towels, wrapping one around my hair and the other I dry off with. I put on some deodorant, body spray, and powder up. I grab my bathing suit, which is my first two-piece. It’s pretty conservative though. I’m not one for showing my crap to just anyone. Pulling my jean shorts on then a tank top, I then braid my hair in two braids. Some lip balm and a tiny bit of waterproof mascara and I’m done.

Opening the bathroom door, I walk toward where I left Dani and am surprised she is in the same spot, head down, eyes frantically shifting as she is still reading, but Presley is sitting in the chair with his head down, looking at his phone. He must have heard me because he lifts his head and when he sees me, his eyes light up and I’m rewarded with the biggest smile ever. Goddamn, this man is not only pretty to look at, but he has so much sexiness in all that he does without even knowing. He doesn’t even have to put in any effort.

“Morning, Itty Bitty. Did ya sleep good? I racked out like a newborn baby. So what’s the plan? I’m up for anything, so give it to me. I see Dani is becoming a permanent fixture to the couch over there.”

Hearing her name, Dani’s head jerks up for a quick second, enough for her to stick her tongue out at him. He laughs as she giggles, going right back into her book. Damn, never seen her so involved with reading. Must be good.

“Actually, Presley, not too sure, no one has said anything. When are you guys planning on leaving?”

“Iron said they have the cabin until Tuesday morning, so we’ll be on the road I’m sure at some ungodly early time. I’m glad I had a car though to get Dingo and Celestina out of here. That woman has gone through enough bullshit to last a lifetime. The quicker they get to the Grimm Wolves, the better for her. As long as he realizes how much I love my car, we’re all good.”

I feel my heart contract. Crap, that means we have today and tomorrow. We also leave on Tuesday. Damn, how can I squeeze so much into so little time? Suddenly, I feel an overwhelming sadness. That is until I feel his hands on my shoulders, pulling me to his amazing chest.

“Itty Bitty, don’t do that. It’s not the end for us but just the beginning. Life moves forward and all you have to do is jump on. So to start, let’s go grab some breakfast and chill. Dani, if you hear me, please tell whoever asks we went to get food and will be back. If they need us, we have our phones.”

She nods but doesn’t even look up. Just to be a brat, I walk over to her, acting like I’m going to give her a kiss on the cheek. When I’m close enough, I push the side button that closes the screen.
