“Oh my god… Killian, that’s beautiful.”

“I knew you’d like it.”

He tucks the piece of cloth away and holds it up, nodding at the priest.

The priest holds up his hands. “Do you, Killian O’Sullivan, take Antonella Ambrosino as your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, to protect, and to keep happy for as long as you both shall live?”

“I do,” he says, slipping the ring onto my finger. A perfect fit.

I stare down at it, unable to take my eyes off it.

“Antonella Ambrosino. Do you take Killian O’Sullivan to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, to protect, and to keep happy for as long as you both shall live?”

I smile, tears prickling my eyes. I reach across and take Killian’s hands in mine, squeezing them. “I do.”

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Congratulations!”

Etta jumps up and down, clapping loudly while Killian pulls me into a deep kiss, bending me at the waist as he does so.

I laugh against his lips, my happiness overflowing so much that I feel like my body will burst from the force of it all. I can’t believe that I’m finally married to the person that I love and not some stranger I had no future with.

When Killian pulls me up, I cup his face and lean into him. “I love you, Killian.”

“I love you more, Antonella. More than you’ll ever know.” He gives me a wild grin. “Now, let’s go consummate this marriage.”
