Covering my teeth with my lips, I find my rhythm, bobbing my head and occasionally swirling my tongue along the underside of his dick. With a groan, Viper’s hand comes to rest on the back of my head, and I use one hand to gently caress his balls, enjoying the weight of them in my palm. My other hand jacks him off in time with my slurping movements.

“Shit. Peaches. I’m not going to last,” he gasps, his second hand moving to the back of my head again, both hands attempting to lift my face away from his dick.

I swallow a giggle – he’s trying to warn me that he’s about to come in case I want to get my face out of the way. My swallowing pushes him over the edge, and he comes with a groan.

“Yes, Peaches.”

I swallow the salty liquid, sitting up and smirking at the undone look on his handsome face. I put that there. It’s enough to make a girl feel special. Definitely smug.

Wiping my mouth with the back of my hand, I slide out of bed. Viper’s eyes widen in surprise, and his hand shoots out, his fingers closing around my wrist, tugging me down against his chest.

I snuggle against him, surprised he wants to keep me here after he’s come. Our three times last night float through my head, and I swallow a smile. I think I might need a break tonight. I have to work with kids tomorrow. I need a decent night’s sleep.

Viper drops the coverlet over us, sighing contentedly as he curls himself around me.

“You belong in here, Peaches,” he breathes into my hair, my heart thumping in my chest. “With me.”

How the hell am I supposed to sleep afterthat? Viper has no issue. His breathing evens out quickly, his warm breath blowing across my throat as I lie in his arms, my eyes staring at the ceiling. No condoms. Ibelongin here with him? Things are getting…intense. I need to be careful. Falling in love with Viper would not be a good idea. At all.

Chapter 16

NAOMI

Kayley cradles her daughter Lil against her shoulder, crooning and stroking her back in long, slow sweeps.

“It’s okay, angel. Mama’s here.”

Cockerel is standing behind them, cupping the back of his daughter’s head, looking concerned.

“She only vomited once?” he confirms. I nod, rubbing her little leg comfortingly.

“Just the once, but she has a bit of a fever, so Shelley thought it best she come here to you.”

“Thank you.” Kayley’s worried eyes find mine. She nods and turns to her husband. “I’ll take her home.”

“Should you take her to the doc?” Cockerel asks, stroking Lil’s cheek with the backs of two of his fingers.

“I’ll keep an eye on her temperature. If she vomits again or her fever gets worse. I will.”

“Okay. Call me if you’re going to the hospital, and I’ll come home and collect you two.”

“Okay.” She leans closer as he kisses them both, watching with tense eyes as they leave. Turning to me, he offers me a smile.

“Thanks.”

“Any time.” I turn to the door, ready to head back to help Shelley with the remaining kids, my feet faltering as he calls after me.

“Don’t forget that tattoo!”

“Never going to happen! I don’t do needles!” I call over my shoulder, snickers following me into the rolling heat waves and May sunshine.

My feet slap the sizzling pavement as I turn back to the clubhouse, waving off the offer for a ride from one of the catcalling Hawks at the gas station next to the tattoo parlor. I’m pretty sure Viper would be majorly pissed if I got on the back of someone else’s bike. Especially after last night and the whole, you belong in here with mething.

I turn down the warehouse-lined street that shoots straight as an arrow to the clubhouse, my feet dragging as a scantily clad figure looms ahead of me.

Reaching her, I halt a yard away, my eyes darting over Joey’s tight, stretchy black crop top, her blood-red navel piercing glinting in the May sunshine. Her tanned legs emerge from beneath her barely-there black, pleated leather skirt, and I could not walk in her black stiletto heels.

Honestly… I’ve been expecting this confrontation. I’m surprised it’s taken this long. I’m pretty sure the only reason Joey hasn’t cornered me at the clubhouse is that I look after the VP, Sergeant-at-arms, lieutenant, and daughter of the president’s kids there. She’s meaner than a junkyard dog, but she’s not stupid.
