“Our lady is wondering if we can make things work with your schedule, mine, and hers,” I say before we digress and end up discussing something that honestly doesn’t matter at all.

Finn glances at Piper and rolls his eyes. “Woman, I’ll follow you to the ends of the earth. This time it won’t take me eight years to get to you.”

Piper glares at him.

He shrugs unapologetically. “But it’s true.” He winks at her glancing at me. “Look, I even brought you a souvenir. You get not one, but two men who love you unconditionally and will do anything for you.”

She huffs. “We have to talk about the future. Jobs, homes… kids.”

Finn’s eyebrows shoot up to his forehead, and he says, “Are you pregnant?”

“Why do you ask?” Piper’s voice is reserved.

“We went through the journal and the letters,” Finn explains. “Archer left you a way to create a family, and so far you have followed every single thing he said.”

“Only a few of them,” she says defensively.

“Are you?” I ask.

She shakes her head. “No, I’m not.”

“Why not?” Finn asks. “You don’t want kids anymore?”

“I do, but you can’t bring a child into this world and say, welp, sorry your dad kind of died, and I can’t introduce you to him.” She shrugs as if saying, it sounds pretty fucked up.

“But we want children, don’t we?” I dare to throw out the question, looking at both of them.

They nod in unison, and I sigh.

“If possible, I would like to be in Seattle when that happens, so they can grow up close to my family.” Piper bites her lip, staring at the plate.

“Then, we move to Seattle,” I offer, glancing at Finn.

We had already discussed our relocation. We will live wherever Piper wants us to be. As long as we’re all together.

Finn taps the table. “Okay, it’s set. We start planning the big renovation of the old house, then our move to the northwest. The babies will come next.”

He takes Piper’s face between his hands and kisses her hard. “I’m going to shower. Either one of you wanna join me?”

Piper shakes her head. “Nope. I’ve been ready to leave since you left for the gym. You two get ready so we can go home. Zach and Burke are looking forward to meeting you today.”

“Fletcher?” Finn asks.

“If you can get us there by noon, I think you can still catch him.”

Finn looks at me. “Rain check on that shower. I have to be out in less than five. Ready up—and get my assistant to make sure the jet is prepped for takeoff.”

ChapterSixty-Five

Piper

It takesus a week to decide what to do with the house. Derek hires people for both our home and the practices. After that, we fly to New York. Finn and Derek have to plan their move to Seattle. We take things slowly for the first month with individual and group dates. According to Finn, things will become more settled when we’re in Seattle, living together.

The three of us haven’t slept in the same bed since San Francisco. Sex individually is amazing, but we haven’t been together as three.

We want to wait until we’re ready, but I’m ready, and if it doesn’t happen tonight, I might expire with lust. I invited them for dinner, but dinner will hopefully become much more.

It’s six o’clock when Finn and Derek arrive at the penthouse. I’m surprised when the first thing Finn says is, “Did you get an invitation to Seth and Teddy’s wedding?”
