She looked at me. She looked at Seb.

She walked away.

From the corner of my eye I saw a guy casually looking my way.

Casually grinning.

“That takes some serious balls,” Seb whispered to me. “Buying you a drink in front of me.”

“Why does that matter? We’re not together.”

Those words rattled as they came out of my mouth.

So many fantasies from young April rushed through my head at once about Seb.

“He doesn’t know that,” Seb said. “He sees us together and buys you a drink.”

“Are you getting jealous of this guy?” I asked.

“No. I’m wondering what to do.”

“What do you mean?”

Seb grinned and leaned closer to me. “Well, you can turn a little and eye fuck him for a second and see what’s there. But if you do that, then I’ll have to follow you around all night and make sure the guy isn’t a creep. And, yes, that includes bedroom stuff. I’ll have to stand there and watch you two screw and make sure he treats you well.”

I wasn’t sure how to take that.

My body did.

Seb. Watching me with another man?

A warm tingling tickled between my legs.

“What’s another option?” I asked.

“I grab you and kiss you,” he said.

“What?” I cried out. “Seb!”

Seb started to laugh. “I’m just saying. I kiss you and show dominance. That you’re all mine. That’s up to you, of course.”

I opened my mouth to talk like normal.

Except my tongue felt three times its normal size and I couldn’t speak.

“I… uh… oh… um…”

I began to almost moan the sound of all the vowels.

I couldn’t stop myself.

The entire time I did that, Seb grinned and laughed at me.

Then I made my decision.

No idea what it implied or why I did it, but I grabbed the shot glass and threw back the drink.

I gulped down the hard liquor and felt my throat and stomach burn red-hot.
