I owed a lot to my sisters and Man, but I could see now what I’d been missing. Maybe what we’d all been too scared to truly face—love.

Glancing around the table at the four guys, I watched as they talked with one another, laughed and joked about random things, and shared the details of their day as they ate. The camaraderie and companionship there was authentic, and I knew there would never be anything that compared to the four guys who’d captured my heart.

“Alright, we’ll stay the course and keep finding more holes in their defenses. I’ll go over the stuff you recorded today with Rueben. Have fun with the twins.” Otto kissed me, his hands squeezing my hips before he passed me over to my silent giant. Smiling up at him, I pulled his head down so I could give him a kiss goodnight.

“Sleep well,” I whispered a second before Phoenix grabbed me and swung me into his arms.

“You’re ours now, Cupcake.”

“Cupcake?” I asked with a giggle.

He shrugged his shoulders, pure joy radiating off him as he marched us to the bedroom he shared with his twin. We stepped into their bathroom; the jacuzzi tub filled with bubbles, and a girly squeal left me. Phoenix beamed at me, his eyes shining so bright, I got momentarily lost in them.

“Welcome to Twin Spa, where all your needs will be met with a smile. First, we have a luxurious bubble bath with lavender oil to make your muscles relax and rejoice,” Porter said in a game show voice.

“Sounds amazing. You’re joining me, right?” I asked with hope.

The twins looked at one another, and I thought I was about to get my wish, but then Porter shook his head. “I’ve got to set up the last part. Phoenix will take care of you, Cutie-pie.”

“You sure?” Phoenix asked, his forehead wrinkling.

“Yep. Don’t get too sleepy, though. There are lots of activities planned.” Porter winked as he stepped out of view. Phoenix shrugged and helped me undress, his eyes drinking me in with each new inch of skin I uncovered.

“You’re absolutely breathtaking, Raven. I’m almost mad at you for hiding your sweet thighs under skirts, but you look too cute in them for me to be that mad.” He groaned, his hands squeezing thin air.

“Your brother said almost the same thing.” Blushing, I slid into the tub under the warm bubbly water. It sloshed over my skin like a gentle caress, soothing me like they’d said. “This feels amazing.”

I leaned back against the side and crooked my finger to get Phoenix to join me. He blinked out of his fog, removing his clothes in a mad rush. My eyes tracked over his golden skin, taking in his abs and the Adonis belt that literally made me drool. He shucked his shorts in one swoop, his meaty cock springing to life once it was free. I’d felt it behind me the other night, but seeing it was different.

He sank into the water, letting out a sigh as it enveloped him. Tugging on my foot, he pulled me closer until my legs wrapped around him and his hard cock nestled under me.

“I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to focus on bathing you, Cupcake. You’re too distracting.”

My hands explored his chest, running over the tattoos. He shivered beneath my touch, bringing a smile to my face.

“What else is there to do in a bath?” I asked, tilting my head.

“I wanted to wash your hair,” he whispered, lifting the heavy strands off my neck. It seemed important to him, so I shrugged and turned around.

“Okay.”

With soft and careful hands, Phoenix lifted a cup I hadn’t noticed into the water and poured it over my head. His hands were gentle as he took care with each strand, writing me a love letter with his touch. My body quivered with each brush of his fingers, the anticipation of what he’d do ramping up my arousal.

“Have you done this before?” I asked, needing to distract myself.

“A long, long time ago.” His voice was sad, and I wished I’d never brought it up. “Has Porter told you anything about our past?”

“No. Just how you met the other two at the group home.”

His fingers ran down my back, lifting the hair out of the water as he rinsed it. “We weren’t always homeless. We had a home and a family once. They weren’t the best parents, but they tried. We were taught early how to steal and con in order to survive. It was fun back then, though Porter probably still feels it is. He’s always been more outgoing, more friendly. He likes the adrenaline high of pulling something off, whereas I prefer to uncover information safe behind my computer screen.”

“It’s not bad to want to be safe,” I said, not liking how sad his voice was.

“I know, Cupcake.” He kissed my shoulder, his lips warm against my skin. “Thank you for seeing who I am.”

I smiled, happy I could give him that.

“Our parents would make stealing a game, giving us different tasks and objectives. We didn’t know they were petty criminals at the time, always looking to score the next big thing. It was their greed that got them killed. Them and our little sister, Penelope.”
