Wow. Just wow.
The sixth and final book in theUnearthly Sinsnovels. I’m lost for words, and those who know me know how incredibly out of character that is.
First of all, I will say this—this is not the end of theSinsnovels. There are other series to come, so do not despair, dear reader!
As with everything I write, these novels are my heart and soul on paper. When I said I’ll miss these characters, I meant that in a completely visceral way. I feel the same sort of grief after I finish reading a series I love or watching a television show or movie. I get attached easily and throw myself one hundred percent into the stories I write, as well as the ones I enjoy in other mediums. So I’ll grieve for these characters because it’ll be like missing a part of myself.
Is that weird? I can’t even tell anymore. I think I’ve reached a new level of weirdness. But hey, I’ve chosen to embrace it.
I can’t thank my team and friends enough who helped me along the way with my writing and publishing journey with their general support and, of course, their knowledge, expertise, and all that good stuff we need to help us succeed. I’m certain without them, I’d still be floundering around with an unedited manuscript, uncertain of what step to take next.
In no particular order—Chris, Kate, Kay, Kimberly, Ashleigh, Kathy, and Andrea.
And my parents, of course. My mother insists on owning all the paperbacks to see them on her shelf. Sweet, right? But not her type of books, and I get that.
Mum, if you ever do read them, just skip overthosescenes, okay? For both our sakes.
And, of course, Jason, for whom mere words are never enough to express how much you mean to me and how much I appreciate your constant support and encouragement. I mean it when I say I wouldn’t be the person I am today without you.
So, where to now? There are otherSinsnovels to explore. We certainly need to follow Cole and find out what that man is up to. And what about Bane and Dante? I’ve had questions about them, and yes, the Hellhound Sins is a plan too. Am I giving too much away? I don’t think so. Think of it as a special tidbit for reading this far into my self-indulgent ramblings known as the acknowledgment section. I have many, many plans to put words on paper and bring them to you because if I don’t get these stories out of my head, I don’t know what I’ll do.
And aliens.
I’m not saying there’ll be aliens, but there will be aliens.
