My head started working a more solid plan. I grinned as the attendant settled a wooden breakfast tray over my legs, placing my omelet and bacon in front of me. She poured a steaming cup of coffee and readied it with cream and sugar. I’m not sure how she knew how I liked it, but when she placed it down, it was the perfect color. I took a small sip and groaned with pleasure.

“Thank you,” I murmured. She bowed her head respectfully.

“Anything else, Mrs. Reznikov?”

“Actually, do you know of any sought-after or well-known clothing stores here in Lake Forest?”

“There is this one place I’ve heard mentioned before, Le Chic Boutique. They have some world class designers featured there from time to time,” she offered.

“I might have to check that out some time,” I grinned.

“Is that all?” she asked.

“Yes. This is great. Thank you very much,” I exclaimed with a warm smile.

She took her leave, and I started eating, enjoying every delicious, fluffy bite. I took my time, sipping my coffee slowly and enjoying the perfectly made brew as much as I could. I even poured myself a second cup before I finally managed to crawl out of bed, still enjoying the lingering tendrils of pleasure from my climax.

I sucked in my lower lip as I went into the bathroom and stripped. I looked over my shoulder at my bare backside. The pink marks from his hand had long disappeared, and I pouted a little bit in disappointment. If everything went according to plan, my ass would be a much brighter red when I went to bed tonight.

I took a nice long shower, making sure to shave every inch of my body. I exfoliated all over too, taking extra time to make sure my skin was extremely soft and pliable. By the time I was finished, I felt as slick as a dolphin, and that made my confidence soar.

I dried myself off and slathered myself in orange scented body butter. Finally, I dried my hair and brushed it until it shone. I ventured into my closet where all my things had been stored. I stared at my options for a long time, not really happy with any of them if I wanted to present the picture of Sergei’s wife. I noticed that there were a few garment bags at the right-hand side. I unzipped one and gleefully squealed when I saw the contents.

One was a sweet, demure wrap dress, another was a sharp pant suit, and another was a feminine one-piece suit. I ended up choosing the wrap dress, focusing on the beautifully delicate rose pattern embroidered into the fabric. It was subtle, but elegant, and when I put it on my body, it was perfect. Not wanting to wear heels today, I pressed my feet into my favorite pair of black ballet flats. I did a quick face of makeup, deciding to focus on a neutral toned smokey eye and a dusky rose lip. Finally, I grabbed a bold red purse and pressed my phone inside, along with the credit card Sergei had given me in case I needed to order anything. I’d used it for a few online purchases so far, like the perfume he’d liked so much. Impulsively, I spritzed myself with it before I left the room.

With a deep breath, I left my bedroom and descended to the main floor. I was always amazed at how the staff could be all around the house, but I so rarely saw them that I almost forgot they were there.

For a few long moments, I stood in the kitchen, staring at the garage door. Did I really want to do this? Once I left the house, there was no going back. This was the moment of no return. If I chose to do this, the fate of my backside was in his hands. Literally.

A small, prideful part of me reared its head. I was a grown woman. I didn’t need rules to abide by. I had taken care of myself for much of my life. My parents had been more concerned with their careers than with me when I was growing up. I’d learned to cook my own meals, clean my own room, and do my own laundry by the time I was nine. They’d expected me to stay in town with them, to never leave California so that I would be around to take care of them when they got old.

I’d chosen to go to college in Chicago instead, needing to put some distance between them and myself so that I could figure out who I was without their influence. I was intelligent, strongminded, and I made good decisions. I knew that about myself now, and I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t ever left.

Was doing this a wise decision? I chuckled, knowing immediately that it wasn’t. The end result was that I was either going to piss Sergei off, get my ass spanked, or maybe even get the fucking I wanted so desperately from him without having to ask for it.

I was going to do it.

I grabbed one of the pairs of keys and strode into the garage with my head held high. There was a small blacked out Audi among a few others I didn’t recognize, and I hummed gleefully when the key in my hand unlocked it. I wasn’t quite sure how it worked, but the garage door opened the moment I slipped inside the vehicle.

I pressed the key into the ignition and started the car. There was a high-definition screen in the dashboard, and I used it to put in the directions to the boutique the woman had recommended. When I was finally ready, I drove off. I couldn’t ignore the way my heart was racing in my chest. The boutique wasn’t far, and when I pulled into the parking lot, I found several cute stores beside it. I started in Le Chic and found myself in heaven.

I tried on at least a dozen outfits and bought about half of them. There were a number of gorgeous purses, shoes, and jewelry that I picked out too. I didn’t look at the total when I was done. I just handed them Sergei’s card.

“I didn’t realize it was you, Mrs. Reznikov,” the owner said. Once they’d realized I was a serious customer, the owner had come out of her office and personally helped me to shop, bringing me the correct sizes and suggesting other things that might look good on me. Her assistance was helpful, and I bought more because of it.

“I really appreciate your help, Donna,” I smiled, reading the name on her tag.

“Please come back any time you like and let Mr. Reznikov know that he would be welcome along with you,” she replied.

“I will,” I replied. Another worker helped me carry my bags out to the car, and then I explored the rest of the plaza. There was a chocolate shop with the tastiest macaroons I’d ever put in my mouth, as well as a cute accessory store that bordered a little bit on touristy.

There was another shoe store in which I found a sexy pair of pink Louboutin’s covered in black lace that I had to buy. Finally, when I was feeling shopped out, I pulled out my phone and checked the time. My stomach growled as I realized it was close to dinner.

Luckily, there was a restaurant in the plaza too. It was a beautifully decorated Mediterranean place, and I ordered myself one of their balsamic chicken salad specials. It was a ginormous portion, but every bite was decadent yet healthy at the same time.

I didn’t order a drink because I wasn’t quite certain how Sergei would feel about me driving after it. I was already digging my grave deep enough; I didn’t have to go all the way to the other side of the world.

I paid my bill and slipped back into the car, putting in the address for home when I was ready. I drove back and sat in the garage for a moment before I realized his car hadn’t returned yet. There was still an empty spot in the garage. I grinned and carried my things inside, taking a few trips.
