“She looks fine, Ethan,” her brother said, completely unfazed.

I glimpsed back at the curve of her ass. “I can see her fucking underwear!”

With a growl, Daisy twirled on her heel and marched back into her room.

“Daise!” Flynn yelled. “There’s no time to change. We have to go.”

“Just a sec!” she sang out.

Relief washed over me as Flynn opened the door that led me to the elevator. Crisis averted.

He pushed the down button and called out again. “Come on, Daisy. The limo is waiting!”

“I’m coming!” she called out, which didn’t help the growing bulge below.

As Flynn and I stepped into the elevator, Daisy brushed past, dragging her alluring scent past my nose. God, she smelled good.

It wasn’t until we were halfway down the building that I peeked across at Daisy’s outfit, and my temper spiked. “I thought you were going to change.”

“Not a chance. This dress is sexy as fuck.” She flicked her hair back. “I just removed the problem you so kindly pointed out.”

My gaze dropped to her ass as she stepped out of the elevator. There were no lines where her underwear should’ve been. Nothing. I prayed she’d changed into something more discreet, but the glint in her eye said otherwise.Fuck.I wiped my hand down my face as we approached the waiting limousine. “There better be an open bar, Flynn.”

“Of course there is.” He chuckled. “These exhibitions aren’t for the Average Joe, Ethan. You’ll be surprised how much people pay for art when they’re slightly inebriated.”

“So, they don’t actually care about the art?”

Flynn shrugged. “Some do. Others just like to flaunt their wealth. If they think you’re a big deal, like Lanie believes you are, they’ll be all over your work.”

“Lanie’s the owner?” I asked, suddenly feeling nauseated. I hated selling myself.

“Yes, but she won’t be there long. So, make sure you talk to her before she leaves.”

I groaned. “I’m not great at small talk. You know that.”

“Well, you’ll want to talk to her.” Flynn chortled as he slipped into the limo after Daisy. “She’s gorgeousandloves art.”

I licked my dry lips as I sat in the seat opposite Daisy, noting the rise in her dress. “My perfect woman,” I uttered, staring at the girl who owned my heart as the limo pulled away from the curb.

“The mysterious Ethan Hall.” A ridiculously beautiful woman with long blonde hair appeared at my side. “I’m Lanie Blackwood, the owner of LB Galleries. Adrian’s been raving about you.”

I shook her delicate hand. “Thank you for showing my work. I really appreciate the opportunity.”

“Are you kidding?” Her laughter was an exotic blend of wealth and honesty. “Your artwork is amazing.”

With a bashful smile, I gazed around the room with a churning gut.Where did she go?

“But you have no website or social media presence…” she said, watching me curiously. “Why is that?”

“I’m a private person.”

She nodded, seemingly understanding. “Then how do you sell your art?”

“I don’t, usually.”

Lanie chuckled. “Well, you do now.” She pointed around the room full of rich, entitled assholes. “All but one of your pieces has already sold.”
