Laughter bubbled up from Kalie. “Two very handsome cowboys who wear their Levi’s tight, and look really hot with their boots and cowboy hats. They work the ranch. At least until I sell the place.”
The memory of Jim White coming to visit her yesterday made her cringe. The man had been obnoxious and so full of himself that she’d almost puked within the first twenty seconds of meeting him. Sanctimonious as hell. His offer would be the last she would consider.
“Hmm…you’re at your grandparents’ ranch where they were in a menage relationship and the whole town believes in two men for every woman? Girl, you have landed in paradise. Why the hell would you want to come back here?”
Just like Stacy to think this was a good thing. Kalie just felt so unsure. It was so odd and she knew nothing about how it would work with two men, but she was curious.
“Why haven’t you grabbed those two hunky cowboys and tried out this new arrangement?”
That was easy.
“Because they’re my employees and one of them hit on me in the grocery store before he learned I was his boss. The man wanted to pour cold beer over my naked body and lap it up,” she said, the thought still sending tingles of awareness down her body.
On a hot summer day, that cold beer would feel really good.
Stacy laughed. “You were complaining about the lack of men here in New York City who like their sex a little rough and the universe delivered, and you said no?”
It was true. But she was so uncertain, and she didn’t like not knowing what she was getting into.
“Honey, what are you thinking? Did that plane ride kill off some brain cells? You’re a very smart woman. Try it out. For goodness’ sake, you’re in the right place to test the waters and find out if this would be something you’d be interested in. These men can give you the rough sex you desire,” she said.
Just then a knock sounded at the door. She glanced out the window and saw the truck from the company going to install her connection to the world.
“Gotta go, the internet guy is here and I need it set up so I can get some work done.”
“Tonight, why don’t you find yourself some porn that involves two men and one woman. Maybe that would answer your questions.”
That wasn’t a bad idea. But would the company be shocked that instead of watching a romcom, she was indulging in porn? Who cares, it was her dime.
“Good idea. I may just do that,” she said. “Talk to you soon.”
Disconnecting the call, she went to the door. Two hours later, the technician had her set up for satellite internet. Not as great as she had at home, but at least now she could get some work done.
And she could hardly wait to try out the internet tonight.
After dinner, she cleaned the kitchen. She’d gotten caught up on her most pressing work and now she was going to relax and enjoy a movie. One that was the perfect example of two men and one woman.
Ninety minutes later, she shut off the television. Oh my goodness. Her body was tingling in places she’d forgotten about. That movie had been very explicit and she’d seen exactly what happened.
Without thinking, she picked up her cell phone and dialed Colby’s number.
“Is everything okay?” he asked.
“No, it’s not. Can you and Preston come over here?”
“We’ll be right there,” he said.
Now what did she do? She’d just invited her employees over with the express purpose of seducing them and she had no idea how to begin.
An idea quickly formed.
She turned the movie back on and fast-forwarded to the section where the two men were taking the woman. The moans and groans reverberated through the living area.
“Grandmother, I’m sorry, if you can see or hear this,” she said out loud. “But it’s because of you that I’m curious.”
A rapid knock landed on the door and she took a deep breath and released it slowly. It had been two years since she’d had sex. Since that time, the men she’d dated had never made it past the first kiss.
Ifyou didn’t know how to kiss, you certainly wouldn’t be good in the bedroomwas her philosophy.
