He holds out his hand. She takes it. “So ready.”
The Chief Justice lays out some papers in the dining room. Maggie and Declan stand beside her. She looks up from the papers and says, “We need two witnesses.”
Declan points to all of us and says, “We have like twenty.”
She laughs. “We need two signatures. Who do you want to sign?”
Declan looks at Maggie. She says, “President and First Lady?”
Declan nods. “I think that makes it extra official.”
Celeste says under her breath. “The press will love this.”
The judge has them sign some papers and James and Elizabeth sign as well. She asks them a few questions and then looks up and says, “I declare you husband and wife.”
“Well, that was easy,” Keene says.
“Can I kiss her?” Declan says.
Chief Justice Diaz points to Maggie and says, “She’s your wife. Kiss her if you want.”
Declan smiles brightly and pulls Maggie in for a kiss. Will whistles. The whole group cheers and claps.
Elizabeth passes out champagne, and everyone toasts the couple.
I lean in to Brooklyn and say, “How are you going to top that?”
She laughs. “I’m not even going to try.”

Juno
He opens the door,shocked to see me. “Juno, what are you doing here?”
I glare at him. “You just left – without saying goodbye.”
