Viper’s strokes were almost violent as he thrust his hips forward until he finally came. His essence hit my chest and belly. It was warm on my skin, and it fueled a second orgasm.
As I lay on the bed, covered in his seed, I couldn’t stop the smile that spread across my face.
“If that was punishment, I think I’ll be bad more often.”

“Sutton,”Viper growled. “Sutton, wake up.”
I was jarred from unconsciousness, my foggy brain confused and addled.
“Wha—what is it?” I asked.
“You were having a nightmare.”
I felt like I was burning up from the inside out. I flung the covers off me and took a deep breath. My heart was racing inside my chest.
“I’m hot,” I gasped.
Panic and anxiety gripped my throat. I scrambled from the bed like a rabid animal.
“Sutton—”
“I can’t breathe,” I panted.
The lamp on the nightstand came on and Viper climbed from the bed.
I scurried away from him until my back hit the wall.
“Hey,” Viper said as he strode toward me. He wore boxers, but his chest was bare.
I held out a hand to stop him. “Just…give me a moment.”
He nodded.
I sank down to the floor and curled my knees to my chest. I closed my eyes and took slow, even breaths. The floor was cold, and I shivered as my body cooled. After a while, my T-shirt no longer felt like it was going to strangle me. When I finally got myself under control, I looked up at him.
He scrutinized me, his expression dark.
“I’m okay,” I assured him.
I wasn’t sure I believed the words coming out of my mouth, but at least it no longer felt like my heart was being squeezed by a fist. My breaths became regular, and my pulse began to slow.
“Sorry I woke you.”
He sat down in front of me, his body mirroring mine. He placed his large hands on my knees. “What were you dreaming about?”
“No idea,” I said truthfully. “You woke me up and I was just…panicked.”
“You were thrashing around and whimpering, but you weren’t coherent.”
I bit my lip, hard.
“You really don’t have any idea what you were dreaming about?” he asked slowly.
“Doyouhave an idea what I was dreaming about?” I asked.
