Viper wasn’t moving fast enough, so my fingers went to his button and fly.

“Easy,” he said with a laugh. He pulled his pants down, including his boxers. I straddled him again, grasping his erection in my hand and guided him into my body.

I sank down on top of him, groaning in pleasure from the sensation of him filling me completely.

“God, I love this,” I moaned.

He grasped my hips and urged me to ride him. My skin flushed with heat and our eyes were locked on one another.

I was never going to get enough of him.

“Kiss me,” he commanded.

I leaned forward and covered his mouth with mine. Our tongues met and danced, desire shooting through me.

Sex with Viper was sweaty, needy, necessary. It grounded me, made me feel connected to my body and his. To the moment.

Nothing else mattered—the world fell away.

The smell of his skin, the rough pads of his fingers on my body, the intoxicating delirium that came from feeling completely safe and secure.

Viper allowed me to be vulnerable, to demand what I wanted.

And right now, it was in his power to give it to me.

So I took my pleasure, wringing every drop of it from his lips and body.

I collapsed against him, pressing my forehead to his shoulder while I gulped air into my lungs.

“It can’t be this easy, can it?” I asked, lifting my head to stare into his dark brown eyes.

“What can’t be this easy? Sex?”

“Living together,” I said with a wry smile. “I’ve hardly wanted to murder you at all.”

He grinned. “Glad to hear it.”

“And?”

“And what?”

“And you like living with me too.”

“I already told you that, didn’t I?”

“Tell me again.”

“I don’t like living with you.”

“But you just said—”

“Iloveliving with you.”

“It’s because I parade around in my underwear and cook you bacon and then have sex with you before you’ve even finished your coffee, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, those are all really good things, but there’s more to it than that.”

“What else, then?”
