I spread my legs even wider and lowered myself onto the bed further, angling myself up to him.

Viper sank all the way inside me.

My fingers clawed at the comforter.

“All right?” he rasped.

“Yeah. More.”

He began to thrust, gently at first, but when he realized I could take him, he was a little rougher.

His fingers still played with me while he drilled into my body.

I screamed into the comforter and came, writhing, my skin on fire.

Viper gripped my hips, pulled me against him and orgasmed with a guttural groan.

He pressed his face between my shoulder blades, his warm breath fanning my flesh. Viper released me and slowly pulled out.

I felt something dribble down the inside of my leg.

“Viper?”

“Yeah?”

“Did the—uh—I think the condom broke.” I looked at him over my shoulder.

He’d removed the condom and tied it off, but he then lifted it in the air. “It didn’t break.”

I frowned and showed him the inside of my thigh. “Then what’s this?”

Viper smiled slightly. “You.”

“Me?” I paused and then heat rushed to my cheeks. “Oh…”

“Yeah,oh.” His smile was a full-on grin.

“I’ll just…yeah.” I rushed past him to his bathroom and shut the door.

I quickly grabbed some toilet paper and cleaned myself up. I splashed some cool water onto my red cheeks and wiped them with a towel.

The main light was turned off when I went back into the bedroom, but the lamp on the nightstand illuminated him. He was sprawled out in the middle of the bed with the comforter up to his waist, leaving his naked chest on display.

“Plan on making any room for me?” I asked in amusement.

He lifted the covers but didn’t move over.

I went to the bed and crawled on top of him. He tugged the comforter up until my shoulders were concealed. I curled against his warm body.

“Were you panicking?” he asked.

“Panicking?”

“When you thought the condom broke.”

“Oh. Well, kinda…yeah. I’m not ready for a baby. My life is insane. I live in a clubhouse with a guy I just met, and my house burned down a few days ago. Doesn’t scream financially or maternally stable, you know?” My eyes were drifting shut even though the lamp was still on. I was warm and sated. My thoughts were hazy clouds drifting across the sky.

“I’d take care of you. You and the baby.”
