Her eyes flipped over at Tina, who pushed her forward with the flip of her hands.

“I’ve got a gig tomorrow night at Club Atlas. If you’re in the neighborhood…” she paused, then snorted. “Of course, you’re in the neighborhood; you live there. What was I thinking?”

Langston chuckled. “Do you have a solo performance?”

“Yes.”

“Ah. That’s a good thing, right?”

“It is. The group supports me.”

“Good. It’s important that you and your group have open, honest conversations about solo gigs—I’m glad each of you has opportunities to shine on your own. You ladies are an exceptionally talented group, both solo and united.”

“Aww, that’s nice of you to say.”

“Do you mind if I come to support you?”

Lisa’s brows shot up. “Not at all. Actually, I was getting around to asking, but I somehow seem to be losing my words with you.”

“Hmmm…why is that, Lisa?”

The way he crooned her name made her pussy moist. “Uh…I don’t know. Maybe because I like you, and you make me nervous.”

Silence filled their line, and Lisa locked her jaw, her anxiety through the roof.

“I like you too, Lisa.”

Her heart slammed like a freight train screaming down the rails. “You do?”

“Yes. But…if I make you nervous, maybe it’s not a good thing if I come to your show.”

“Oh!” She shook her head frantically as if he could see it. “No, it’s nothing like that. It’s just…” she hesitated. “I’d love for you to come out. Please, don’t mind my nervousness. I’ll be okay and happy to see you.”

Langston laughed softly. “Okay, then, in that case, I’ll be there.”

Lisa smiled, relieved. “That sounds perfect. I look forward to it.”

“Me too,” Langston said. “See you soon.”

“Bye.” She ended the call, her fingers still shaking. Lisa glanced up at Tina, who was beaming.

“Well, I guess the ball is in his court now. You’d better rock it tomorrow,” Tina teased.

Lisa laughed and nodded. “I will, but now I will definitely have on that dress I was thinking of wearing.”

“The one with the front slit?”

Lisa nodded, hoping to impress Langston while simultaneously hoping she didn’t overdo it.

Langston

He ran against the wind, with muscles flexing and perfect posture. Last night, Langston was able to get some sleep.

Interestingly enough, Lisa was the one he focused on to make it happen.

She’d invaded his senses, and they were back in his home, wound in each other’s arms, body to body. Her scent had filled his nostrils, and the taste of her soft, sweet mouth drove his dick to fill her more with every stroke.
