“Free beer and weed,” Leo answered, looking me up and down. “Why the hell are you in a bottom down shirt?”

“Please tell me it’s not for the girl.” Kai added.

Narrowing my eyes, I reached around them and grabbed a bottle of beer from the bucket that was almost overflowing with bottles. “I wasn’t planning on coming. This place looks like he’s been having a party all week. Plus, you know I’m not a huge fan of Drexler. You never know what he’s going to pull.”

“Yeah, I know, but he promised a big party every night. His parents went out of town last night, so we’ve got a place to party all weekend.”

“Nice.” I turned to look at the room and peruse the bodies. “Who do you have your sights set on?”

“No one yet,” Leo answered before finishing off his drink.

“What’s with you, man? I swear you haven’t found a girl to hook up with the last few weekends,” Kai asked as he eyed a girl with long, dark hair from across the room. “I think I found my victim for the night.”

Leo shrugged. “Half these girls I grew up with and can’t stand.”

“So, gag them and fuck them from behind. Problem solved.” Easy solution.

“I’ll still have to see them in the halls and get their scathing looks.”

“And since when do you care how they look at you?” Half the school looked at us with adoration, while the rest looked at us with hate. It was nothing new. It had been that way since we started at Saint Sebastian High.

“Not all of us are as thick skinned as you, Archer.” Leo shot out and tried to punch me in the arm, but I was too fast jerking to the side.

“Why care what any of these people think when we’ll never see them again once we graduate?”

Leo stepped back and looked at his black tennis shoes. “Not all of us have our future planned out. What if I’m stuck here the rest of my life?”

“Whatever,” I huffed. “I don’t understand this mood you’re in. If you want to…” My words cut off as I watched Leo and Kai’s eyes go wide. Turning around, I found what they were looking at. Coming in the door was Lincoln, and by his side was Payton. “What the fuck?” I growled out as I stalked toward them. “You better have a good answer for why you just walked in the door with her.”

Payton was beautiful, and I hated it. I loathed everything about this strange feeling in my chest that drew me to her. Seeing Linc walk in with her set my blood on fire.

“How else did you think she was going to come? It’s not like she knew of the party.” Linc grinned at me as he put his arm around her waist. Payton shrugged out of his hold and glared at him.

Crossing her arms over her ample chest, I couldn’t help but notice Payton stood tall against the four of us. “Why am I here?”

“Because I wanted you here and I always get what I want,” I supplied.

“Really? So, this behemoth just spent over thirty minutes convincing my parents this…” her eyes trailed over the crowed. “This party was a must since I’m new to your school just because you required my appearance. What is wrong with you? Do you not remember me on the floor after someone hit me in the head?”

“How could I forget?” I gritted out between clenched teeth.

“I don’t know. Maybe you have a brain injury.”

While I loved how feisty she was, and she thought she could talk to me the way she was, there was no way in hell I was going to let her get away with it.

Gripping her by the arm, I dragged her through the crowd, who slowly parted for us as I headed for the stairs.

“Where the hell do you think you’re taking me?” She shouted over the music. She stumbled, going up the steps. Catching her in time before she face-planted, I pulled her flush against my body. Even in the dim light, there was no way to miss the way her green eyes lit up and dilated, or the way she sucked in her breath. The pads of her fingers dug into my chest.

Unable to answer, I continued until we were standing in front of the last bedroom on the second floor. No one would bother us there. If they did, it would be the last thing they ever did.

“Oh my god, are you crazy? I nearly bashed my head on the stairs. Why can’t you ever answer a simple question?” She rubbed her forehead with the palm of her hand.

“But you didn’t. I saved you. Again. Why don’t you show a little gratitude?” I stepped toward her and for every step forward, she took a step back until she hit the bed. There was no stopping the way I wanted her in that moment. Her cheeks were flushed a pretty shade of pink and her chest heaved as she took me in. “Did you wear that skirt just for me?”

“What?” she asked breathlessly. “I had no idea—”

Gripping her by the neck, I crashed my mouth into hers. Teeth gnashing, tongues dueling. She tasted like cinnamon and something I couldn’t describe. My greedy hands skimmed under her shirt and over her taut stomach. Her body jerked against mine as I took handfuls of her breasts and deepened the kiss. Fuck, her tits were perfect. They were so soft and big, but they’d have to wait another day. My need to be inside of her was overwhelming.
