“Oh, God!” I screamed and started shaking around him. It was so intense that my whole body shook and I was almost gonna cry. I held Antonio close with my arms and legs. He was still fucking me deep, letting me ride it out until nothing was left.

When I was finally done, I was left with my weak limbs wrapped around Antonio as he was pressing kisses to my collarbone. “Oh, God,” sighed again.

Antonio nibbled my earlobe. “I liked it better when you called me, Sir.”

For a second, I couldn’t grasp what he meant but then started giggling. When he pulled back to watch my smiling face, his lips were so slightly bent. Not a real smile, but so handsome. I touched those lips with my fingertips. “You didn’t come.”

He shook his head and kissed my knuckles. “We are not done yet,” he said, then pressed his rock-hard cock deeper in me. “We need to make sure you own my soul.”

And then he fucked me for hours. He fucked me until I was so tired to even take a bath. I fell asleep on his chest, and he slept with me over him all night.

Sometimes I thought it could not get better than this. Unfortunately, I knew it could.

I just tried not to think about it.

It was easy to overthink when we were always alone, so I was excited when he told me we were invited to a party. It was a politician’s party. I didn’t care about what they did with him. I was good at talking to people, and I knew the right etiquette for this type of party. The rest was just fun with Antonio. I was so damn excited to pose as a couple in a public event.

I also knew many people from their circle were going to be there. I wanted everyone to know Antonio was mine. Of course, almost everyone knew we were married, but I wanted to remind people. I wanted to show them this was not an arranged marriage. I wanted them to know how possessive I was of him.

I didn’t know if there were anyone who had their eyes on Antonio at the party, but it was always good to be prepared. Also, rumors always spread fast. I wanted everyone to hear Antonio Mazzoni was in a loving marriage even though I knew no one was going to use that word for anything associated with Antonio.

We both took a good amount of time to get ready. I always thought men could get ready in an instant, but Antonio really cared about appearances. His morning skincare had more steps than mine. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I got to watch him go through it every morning.

Antonio helped me choose my dress. It was a beautiful red satin dress. After I did my hair and make-up, I put on the dress. I only needed to choose jewelry that would go with it, but before that, I moved to the bathroom. Antonio was fixing his hair there, and I wanted to show my dress to him.

When I stepped inside, he turned to me, and something sparkled in his golden eyes. It was barely there but enough for me to see. With Antonio Mazzoni, you needed to see deep to get non-verbal compliments. I was trying to get used to it still. Fortunately, I was good at giving myself a pep-talk about everything Antonio didn’t do or didn’t have.

“Do you like it?” I asked, feeling my cheeks turn pink under my foundation.

Antonio nodded, but his eyes were busy examining my face. He stepped closer and suddenly kissed me. My hands went to his chest. It was a good kiss, but he pulled back too fast. Then his eyes lingered on my lips for a second before looking at himself in the mirror. “Perfect,” he murmured, turning back to me.

My brows came together at his strange move, and this time he pressed a soft kiss to my lips. “I wanted to make sure your lipstick doesn’t smear. You look so beautiful that I know I won’t be able to stop myself from kissing you.”

I blushed even more at the smooth compliment. He was always like this. He always found the best way to praise me. At this point, I knew why he did it. I knew he enjoyed playing with people’s emotions. He enjoyed creating certain ones and knowing he was the cause.

His tactics always worked on me. Even now, I could feel butterflies in my stomach, and I knew his words were not true.

“You are lying,” I exclaimed.

“I never lie to you,” he answered with a serious face. He was always serious, but at this point, I was also able to understand the differences between almost all of them.

I did trust him so much that when I spoke to Kira, she always told me to be careful. I always acted upon my feelings instead of logic, and my feelings were sure Antonio was always going, to be honest with me. I hoped that he also trusted me because that was something he could give me.

Right now, he was really lying, though. It was not a bad lie. It was just a way to be playful.

“You hate PDA,” I explained the lie.

He shook his head. “Then I’ll kiss you while no one is looking.”

At that moment, I realized he really didn’t understand me because all lies were lies for him. In his brain, concepts didn’t have gray areas. He would not even lie to me in a playful way. Because of this, I trusted him even more.

“Now I need to put on my jewelry, and then we can leave.”

Antonio took a step back and held out a finger. “Wait a second. Don’t put anything on.”

“Why?” I asked, watching him leave the bathroom. He went to the bedroom and took something from the drawer on his bedside table. When he straightened and turned back to me, he had a big thin red velvet box in his hands.

I excitedly went to his side. “Oh my, what is this?”
