“And Doc.”

“And Jason.”

With each name, Snow’s smile grew wider and wider.

“Seems like they all came to check on you. Would you like me to open the door?”

“Yes, please, but let me get my pants on first.”

I stood up and turned away from her, giving her some privacy until she said, “Okay.”

I opened the door and the cottage was soon flooded with all of my friends except for Gage, who was still handling Hunter. I had a feeling he’d be there as soon as he could.

“Are you okay?” were the first words out of my mouth when I stepped into her cottage. Word got around fast that Hunter had broken in. I would figure out how he got in, and I would find a solution because safety was a number one priority—even before comfort—at our resort.

I knelt down beside Snow who was sitting on the couch. Her hair fell around her shoulders and body in silken waves.

“I’m fine, yes,” she said.

“If you’re comfortable, tell us what happened so we can make sure it never happens again.”

“Well, I assume he stole my bracelet earlier and snuck in before Bash and I got back to my room,” she looked over at Bash who was standing on the other side of her. “I had fallen asleep on the couch, and I heard a noise, like a door opening. When I opened my eyes, I saw him standing over me and I started screaming for him to get out. He told me he just wanted to talk, tried to calm me down, but I wasn’t about to calm down. He had heard everything that happened earlier, he’d been spying on us the entire time.”

“What do you mean, what happened earlier?”

Snow looked back over at Bash and the look shared between them told me everything I needed to know.

“Ahh, so he heard you having relations,” I said, trying to be as polite and discreet as possible, but that just made everyone in the room burst into chuckles, even Snow.

“Yes, relations,” she said, making bunny quotes with her fingers as she said the words. “He called me a slut, a whore, and asked why I would just hop into bed with a complete stranger like that.”

She rolled her eyes and seemed to brush off the comments from Hunter, but those words filled me with even more rage than before.

“Does he know what type of resort this is?”

“I don’t think he knew much about the resort before he got here. I believe he followed me here, I still haven’t figured out exactly how though.”

“Well he clearly doesn’t belong here, not with that attitude. We don’t tolerate misogynistic prudes very well.”

Snow smiled at me as she reached out and stroked my arm. “Thanks, Sean. I love how open you guys are here.”

“It’s literally what we are all about,” Reed spoke up. “It’s what we believe in. There’s nothing wrong with anybody enjoying sex—women included—as long as everything is consensual.”

The rest of the men agreed, nodding along to Reed’s comments.

“I’ve never met anyone like you guys before,” Snow said. “I was raised in a very strict, conservative household, made to feel shameful for wanting to show any skin or for having crushes on boys. The mindset here is so refreshing.”

As we were talking, Gage knocked on the door and Snow nodded to Anthony to let him in.

“Well, he’s gone. I wish you would have let me call the cops.”

“She doesn’t want that,” Anthony said.

“I don’t understand—” Gage began to argue.
