She looked over at me with a raised eyebrow.

I continued. “You’re carrying one of our babies, we’re going to take care of you.”

“But I can’t just live off you guys—”

“Sweetie,” I said, reaching up over the bed to take her hand in mine. “We want to take care of you. You have seven men here who care deeply for you. You can concentrate fully on your writing career or not work at all if you don’t want to.”

She looked a little uncertain and uncomfortable with the idea.

Bash added, “You want to be a writer, correct? Now you can be one.”

“But how? I mean, I want to travel and whatnot, but without a job—”

“I travel all the time,” Bash said. “I’m going back to France soon to visit family, you can tag along with me.”

“I visit family in Mexico at least a few times a year, I’d love to show you around my country,” I added.

“And I love the beach, so I’m always going somewhere to check out new beach locales. I’d love the company.” Jason said.

Snow looked around at us, still seemingly unsure, and I couldn’t blame her. She was an independent young woman, and it would take some getting used to letting us take care of her at first. But she deserved it—after everything she’d been through and how hard she worked, it was about time good things happened to her.

“That sounds like a dream come true, but...” She had no argument against it other than having to let go of the reins but I had a feeling that in time, she would come around.

“It’s the least we can do. You’re carrying our baby, after all.”

Her face lit up at those words. “Our baby. As in,all of ours?”

“Correct.”

“All my life, I tried to get my father to love me, and now my child is going to have seven dads. It’s unbelievable.”

“Unbelievably amazing, you mean, right?”

“Of course,” Snow said, giving my hand a squeeze. “The rest of it, well, I will need to do some sort of work so I don’t go stir crazy.”

“You can always help out at the resort, doing whatever you want to do,” I said. She didn’t have to, but if it made her feel better to have a job, we could make it happen.

“That actually sounds like an incredible idea. Just one question though.”

“Of course,” I said.

“Can I bring Petey?”

We all chuckled. I knew I would need to stay stocked up on allergy medications, but I would never dream of asking her to leave her cat.

“Yes, of course, Petey can come. I already love the little guy, even if he makes me break out in hives.”

“How's your column going?” I asked as I entered Snow’s cottage. She had taken over the large, presidential suite while we were in the process of building her a cottage of her own in our private section of the resort.

“It’s going great! I can’t believe so many people want to hear about my life here, with the seven of you,” she said with a laugh. “And I just submitted the write up about our trip to France. The photos of the French Alps really sold the piece; thank you again for showing me around.”

She stood on her tiptoes and kissed me, her growing bump pressed against my belly.
