Dimitri barked out a laugh. I scowled. He countered with a smirk. His days were numbered. He was going down, but he just didn’t realize it yet.

“Asshole, I’d watch it, she’s got a look in her eye,” Hunter warned him.

“What look?” he asked.

“The one she gets just before she slices off someone’s ball sack,” Erik answered.

Dimitri covered his crotch defensively.

“Don’t worry, I doubt she’d slice off something she likes to put in her mouth,” Hunter told him.

“She won’t, but I will,” Erik told them both. “I don’t want to see it, hear it, or listen to the commentary about it. As far as you’re all concerned, my sister is still a virgin.”

“That ship has sailed,” Dimitri muttered under his breath.

“It’s going to capsize if you don’t shut up.” Hunter told him. “You’ll be the first one to go down with the ship.”

When we gotto the university later that afternoon, Hunter and Dimitri trailed me like a couple of shadows. The second we stepped out of our vehicle, people noticed.

Of course they did.

With the way they stood out, there was virtually no way they wouldn’t be. People clocked our movement from the parking lot, across the quad and into the hallways. With everyone watching our every move it was going to be difficult to separate my duality in the future.

This was my last year, unless I decided to continue onto law school.

I almost didn’t come back, but I knew I had to. Everyone seemed to know who I was and there was no shaking it. The last thing I needed was to draw the criminal element that was my life to my school.

No one stopped us as we made our way to class.

I thought they would stop there, but much to my chagrin, Tweedledee and Tweedledum followed me into the lecture. They wanted to have eyes on me at all time, as if someone from a rival club would come into a lecture hall and kidnap me in front of the rest of the students.

“See Graham, told you she was a biker slut,” Amber fake whispered as we walked by where they sat. “She’s probably doing both of them. You don’t want some used up vag. It would be like throwing a rock into the mouth of a mountain.”

“I think you mean volcano,” her friend corrected.

“That’s what I said,” she barked.

Dimitri growled, so I squeezed his hand. The last thing we needed was to draw more attention than our posse needed. Luckily for me, I had top marks in this class. The professor loved me. As we walked by, I watched as her minion to the left rolled her eyes. The biggest surprise was she hadn’t rolled them at me.

“Babe, I wasn’t gonna fuck her,” Graham cooed. “I’ve only got eyes for you.”

That wasn’t what he told me, or the other ten chicks I’ve seen him with. After what happened between us, I learned from one of the other girls in our group that the reason they didn’t want to use any of the study rooms at the library was because he had christened most of them. If I would have known about his proclivities, I wouldn’t have invited him to the clubhouse to study.

Then again, he hadn’t shown his true colours until that night. Last year we had a study session scheduled shortly after the flesh market fire. Everyone was talking non-stop about it and I thought if I invited our group to study at my place, they wouldn’t waste time with every gossip who walked by in the library.

The only person who showed up was Graham. He assumed we would study in the bar, but it was always too crowded and noisy down there. So, we went to my room instead. What I hadn’t counted on was for him to get completely undressed and sprawl out on my bed while I was in my bathroom.

With a bright blue, flavoured condom!

When I asked him to leave, he was confused. Thankfully, the true me didn’t have to make an appearance. Hunter showed him the way to the door.

“What arethe two kinds of organized crime?” the professor asked to introduce the lecture.

No one responded.
