Three boyfriends who wanted to share me and not be with anyone else.

“I think this discussion needs to take place with everyone else in the room because I don’t want to speak for them, even though I probably already know their answer.”

“Okay, so what’s your answer?”

“Kisa, I thought you already knew how I felt.”

My breath caught in my throat.

“Tell me anyway,” I told him.

“I don’t need anyone else if I have you, and besides, I get to watch you with them.”

My phone rang before I could respond. I glanced down and saw Lark’s name on the screen. “Fuck, I’ve gotta take this.” The truth was, as much as we tried to ignore the outside world, fate usually had other plans.

“We’ve got all the time in the world to have this discussion.”

I smiled.

“Hey, what’s going on?”

“Too much shit.” He sighed. “Sorry I didn’t get back to you earlier, but I had to weigh my options. I could get killed for this, but this guy you had me looking for is a spineless prick and I didn’t join the Crows to look after little boys.”

“Who?”

“This Dirk asshole.”

“You know where he is?”

“He’s back in your city. There’s this chick who lives near you guys that I fuck on the regular. She told me she was at the clubhouse there and saw him.”

“How’d she know who to look for?”

“The last time I was there on a run, I showed her his picture and asked her to keep an eye out for him. She promised to call me the moment she spotted him.”

“And you’re sure we can trust her?”

“She’s got her eye on being an old lady, so she’s willing to do anything for me. She also has no idea that you’re the one looking for him. When she asked why I wanted her to watch for him, I said he owed me money.”

Smart.

“How long ago?”

“If you guys leave tonight, he might still be there.”

“Where?”

“According to her, he just walked in the back door.”

“Fuck.” Dirk had fallen off the face of the earth. Even though the Reapers were actively looking for him, we hadn’t found anything. All the other leads had been bogus and a waste of our time. “Just a second.” I turned to Dimitri. “Can you text the guys and tell them to come here?”

“Already on it,” he said just as the door to my room opened.

“What’s going on?” Hunter asked.

“Larkin has a lead.”

“Put him on speaker,” Hunter said.
