But all I could think about was how she would look later, laid out beneath me with her dark hair fanned out around her wearing only that diamond necklace as I fucked her deep.

“Capa,” Leo, one of my other captains, whistled, “I see why you haven’t been overly anxious to return to the city.” When I finally pulled my eyes away from Ari, I found his panning back up her body appreciatively.

Normally I didn’t care if my men lusted after the woman on my arm, more times than I could remember I gifted a woman to my men when I was done with her.

But not Ari.

Not my wife.

“Careful, Leo,” I warned, sliding my hand over Ari’s back and down over the swell of her ass, resting the weight of it against her. “Or you’ll find yourself served at the next meal.”

“Ach,” He scoffed with a gold-toothed grin and a chuckle with his men, “Just admiring the surprising beauty that came from Emilio Rosetti’s loins.”

Ari stiffened slightly against me, but offered him a gentle smile. “I’ll take that as a compliment given my father is one of the ugliest men I know.”

His grin widened as did the ones on the men around him as she surprisingly aligned herself with the Capasso family in place of her own.

“Hmm.” Leo winked at me, “Smart too.”

“Very.” I agreed as Manny, the head butler for the estate, entered the room and announced that dinner was ready. “Let’s save any more compliments for my pretty wife until we get through the doorway into the dining room.” I joked and pulled her along with me to lead the party in for the meal.

When we were in the hallway she leaned in further and hissed, “Why didn’t you tell me there were going to be… guests? I look like a whore.”

“I think you look like a Goddess.” I countered and her jaw fell open in surprise. Perhaps she wasn’t used to getting compliments, or perhaps she just wasn’t expecting one from me, but it excited me to know I managed to render her speechless. “Be a good wife and hostess for the rest of the night like I know you were raised and taught to be,” I leaned down until my lips were pressed against her ear, “And I’ll reward you for your good behavior.”

She swallowed audibly and pursed her lips before pulling away from me when we got to the table. “And what will my reward be?” She countered expertly, which I expected.

I pulled the chair out to the left of the head of the table and motioned for her to sit but when she slid between me and the chair to take her seat, I slid my fingers up the back of her short dress until they pressed against her satin covered pussy and she gasped. “You get to pick one of three rewards, so be good.” She fell into the chair, effectively pulling my fingers free of her thighs, and glared at me with flushed cheeks.

If any of my men saw my move, they weren’t dumb enough to bring attention to her embarrassment.

But the way her cheeks and chest bloomed with a blush made my cock hard. I had a fetish for exhibitionism, and if I wasn’t careful, I would let my lust for her get out of hand and I’d end up fucking her right in the center of the table for my men to watch her come undone.

Which wouldn’t serve me at all, because then I’d have to kill every single one of them for seeing her in such a situation.

“Lavish event, Capa,” Luca signaled from his seat next to Ari with his wine glass, “Us lowly soldiers could get used to being invited to such spoiled meals.”

I scoffed, taking my seat and lifting my glass. “None of you have been soldiers in decades, Luca.” I pointed my finger at him and raised an eyebrow, “But test my patience tonight and you can be again if you so choose.”

He chuckled and then fell silent as the butlers brought in the meal, plating delicious food in front of everyone.

I watched Ari as a plate of lobster bisque soup was sat down in front of her and her eyes rounded before, she pushed it away, turning to her butler. “I can’t have this.” She whispered to the man who quickly picked it up and walked away.

“Why can’t you have soup?” I questioned as she awkwardly sat with an empty place setting in front of her. My men began digging into their meals happily, chatting merrily, and enjoying my hospitality. “I thought we talked about you eating more often.”

“I’m allergic,” she said under her breath, “To shellfish.”

“How allergic?” I asked, pausing with my spoon above the delicious-smelling liquid.

“Enough to make you a widow if I ate that soup.” Her butler reappeared with a green soup that looked and smelled far less appetizing and apologized in hush tones for his blunder. “It’s fine, just please tell me what’s in each dish that is served, and we’ll avoid any big dramatics this evening.”

“Yes, Ma’am,” He bowed and backed up, but I caught his elbow.

“Take mine as well and have Chef Alec adjust my meals to ensure I don’t accidentally expose my wife to any allergens.” I handed him the bowl of bisque my chef had gotten his fame for and waited for a bowl of whatever my wife was served.

Several eyes were on us as the men realized something was going on at the head of the table while they ate.

“Exposed how?” Ari asked, dipping her spoon into her new soup and taking a bite.
