CHAPTER FIFTEEN

The small ceremonywas beautiful and intimate. The yard had been transformed into a fairy tale, with a white floral arch, white rose petals scattered on the grass, creating a natural path up to it, and a handful of seats for guests.

Sienna and Sammy were dressed in little flower girl dresses, and Olivia wore a white elegant sleeveless dress designed by Alexander McQueen, which draped over her bump and flowed into a short train behind her.

Fletcher and all the men wore navy Armani suits with white shirts, the girls adding color to the wedding in their new dresses.

Everyone looked stunning.

Emma wore the cream Chanel dress and spent most of the ceremony mentally shaking her head, now she knew Logan had paid for it.

Why would he do that?

That was the question on her lips as she avoided his eyes.

“You may kiss the bride,” the officiant declared.

When Fletcher lowered his mouth to Olivia’s, Sienna and Sammy began to clap and jump up and down. Everyone cheered, with Hunter letting out a loud whistle.

Emma giggled.

Someone turned the music on, and the entire vibe shifted. Trays of champagne were brought out and hors d’oeuvres served, and everyone began to celebrate.

“You sneak, organizing all this without us knowing,” Harper said to Olivia when Fletcher had finally let go of his blushing bride.

Olivia shrugged and grinned.

“It’s what we wanted.”

“It was beautiful,” Emma added.

“Sneaky, all right,” Addison agreed. “But I get it. With a baby on the way, a big wedding is a lot to add to your plate.”

Ignorantly, perhaps, Emma wanted to ask,but if you have all that money, can’t you just get someone else to do it all?

She had no idea.

“The more we considered our options, the more appealing eloping was,” Olivia admitted. “We could have pushed it out a year, but then we’d have a baby. I might be feeding still. Plus, we both wanted to be married when it was born. So now, it’s done.”

“Totally,” Harper said.

“The girls enjoyed getting dressed up.” Addison smiled.

“I’m so glad we decided to fly in and be surprised,” Kristen gushed. “We nearly didn’t.”

“I know!” Olivia said animatedly. “We were worried.”

It was funny how weddings made you reflect on your life and relationship status.

Emma had wondered if she would ever get married. She hoped to findMr. Rightone day, but she wasn’t in a hurry to marry, despite society’s pressure on her as a thirty-something-year-old.

All the men she’d dated had been completely wrong for her. It was as if she didn’t know what she was looking for.
