I smiled. Dec was right. It was time to go home and be with my men. I walked as fast as I could across the ranch to Caleb and Andrew’s house. I didn’t know what they were doing right then, but I would wait for them.It was Caleb’s first day off bedrest, so I didn’t expect they would be working too much longer.

When I walked through the door, Caleb and Andrew were waiting for me in the middle of the living room. They were so handsome, side-by-side. I knew there wouldn’t be a day that went by I’d forget how lucky I was to have them.

My heart squeezed at seeing Andrew in his snug jeans and white long-sleeved shirt. His muscles flexed under the tight material. Caleb was in his jeans as well, since he was able to get out and work. Though he opted for a short-sleeved, royal blue shirt with the Ranch’s logo on the left side of his chest. His right forearm flexed as he clenched his fist by his side.

“Welcome home, sunshine.” Andrew waltzed over and gave me a kiss that left me seeing stars. He took my hand and brought me to the center of the room where Caleb stood waiting.

Caleb wrapped his hand around my neck and tugged me to him, kissing me until my knees threatened to give out. “Welcome home, princess.”

“Wow, if this is the type of welcome I get every time I come home, I can’t wait for when we have to be apart for longer than a few hours.” I smiled at them.

“We promise to greet you like this every time we see you,” Caleb said, his lips brushing against mine, ready to claim another kiss.

I carefully wrapped my arms around him and kissed him again. I loved these two so much it hurt, and they knew how to take my mind off things. Except I wanted to tell them what had happened. They needed to know. It was a part of our no secrets.

I stepped away from Caleb and leaned against the recliner. “I have something to tell you.”

“Sunshine, what’s wrong?”

“I spoke with my mother.” Caleb took a step toward me, but I put my hand up to stop him. I didn’t need his comfort right now. I had to get this out. “It’s over. I told her I didn’t care what happened to the family or the business, but I was not marrying those guys. I’m staying right here, and she can’t do anything about it.”

“How did she take it?” Caleb’s eyebrows knitted together.

“Well, she said I would be disinherited and stripped of my title. Oh, and I basically destroyed the family business.”

Andrew crossed his arms against his chest. “What a shitty thing to say. Are you okay?” His reaction was another reminder I belonged here with them.

“None of that matters. She created this contract. She can deal with it. The only thing I care about is that I get to stay here and be with the ones I love.” I shivered at the intensity in Caleb’s gaze.

“Princess, I am so proud of you.” His smile warmed my heart.

“That’s not all. Apparently, I passed a test. Did you guys know about that?” I tilted my head to the side.

“Test? What test?” Andrew’s mouth turned down. “Was your mother testing you?”

I laughed and shook my head.

“I don’t know anything about a test. What was it?” Caleb asked.

“The software issue. Thomas and Declan want to hire me.” I couldn’t help but smile. “What do you guys think?”

“I think it’s great. You said you wanted to be a normal person. And getting a full-time job is as normal of a thing you can do.” Andrew teased. “It’s like your dream come true.”

I shoved at Andrew’s chest, but he didn’t budge.

He chuckled and pulled me into his arms. “Sunshine, this is the best news ever. I’m happy it makes you happy.”

“Same here.” Caleb came up behind me and sandwiched me between him and Andrew. “I’m so proud of everything you’ve been able to accomplish on your own.” His lips brushed the sensitive spot on my neck, and I sighed.

“But you know what this means now, don’t you?”

They glanced at each other and then at me.

“You guys are going to have to love me forever now.” I laughed, and they chuckled along with me. This weekend was going to be the best beginning ever.

ANDREW

Iwoke to the sun shining in through the windows. I’d turned the alarm off since the Kingstons gave us the weekend off. Declan had insisted we take the whole weekend off to be with our girl. Who were we to say no?
