I throw my head back and laugh as Remus lists all the stupid things that came to mind. The thing is, no matter how stupid, I want to do it. Maybe not the Bermuda Triangle thing because with our luck someone will release the fucking Kraken.

“That just about sums it up,” Kai smirks.

“So we won’t see each other for an entire year?” Morgana asks softly.

Agápi reaches her hand out towards her half-sister who immediately takes it. “Of course we’ll see each other. There’s the coronation, our wedding, and—”

“I meant outside of duties,” Morgana says with an eye roll. “You know what I meant, Dragon.”

Cia laughs. “I’m Kronos now, bitch. You’re the dragon.”

True to her word, agápi has completely left the Drákon side of things to Morgana. After handing over all her files from Abel, she literally walked away, leaving everything to her sister.

“How’s all that going?” Arthur asks.

Sighing dramatically, Morgana answers, “It’s a lot of work. I’ve followed the list from Abel as much as possible. But it’s like being handed a ship with so many holes it’s sinking while being expected to make it seaworthy.”

Gus smirks. “At least you have your first Heir.”

“Oh my god,” Morgana exclaims. “She’s not my Heir. Lupa is my… everything.”

Remus makes a show of looking around the council room. “Yet she isn’t here?”

Gnawing on her bottom lip, the new Drákon Leader looks like a deer caught in headlights. “I wasn’t sure if she was allowed to join us. She isn’t technically on the council.”

Agápi and Kai nod in perfect synchronization.

“I believe a restructure is needed,” Kai says seriously. “There are values I refuse to keep, and values I think we should decide together.”

Everyone voices their agreements, and I’m pretty sure we’re all thinking of one specific rule that needs to be abolished like at least a hundred years ago.

“Although we want to include all of your opinions whenever possible, we’ve already taken the liberty of striking the rule about forbidding same-sex couples.”

Agápi smiles warmly at Morgana who openly cries.

“The new books have already been printed and will be distributed tomorrow. Not only is love love, but this is also an area we have no right to have a say in. It’s not always love when people have sex, which is why we’ve worded it the way we have. But you can read it all tomorrow.”

I cough into my hand to hide the scoff breaking free. Fucking hell, it took weeks to get that wording perfect. Who knew it was that hard to unbanish something as simple as ‘Hey, you don’t get to have a say in who your fellow people stick their dick in or spread their legs for.’ In the end I think Gus nailed it. His suggestion was so simplistic it could only come from him. And now the rules read, ‘The only time a person is allowed to be questioned for sexual or loving activities is if there’s a question of consent.’

Mic. Drop.

There’s even a footnote that mentions this covers dating, friends... basically, any kind of loophole one could think of, is covered. The message is clear, stay the fuck out of other people’s lovelife.

“With everything that’s happened, there’s more that we need to disclose,” agápi says, licking her lips. “If we don’t get it out in the open now, it might create discourse and unease down the line. That’s not something any of us wants. But before I get to it, I want you to know it wasn’t kept from you out of malicious intent.”

All three Leaders turn their heads towards agápi.

“It was my dad, Alexander the Great, who murdered Uther Hatt, Romulus Russo, and Nikolaos Drákon.”

No one moves a muscle, all eyes are glued to my magnificent agápi. There are a variety of faces being pulled as agápi systematically goes through everything from Gus’ family being killed, Lauren and Elena being his biological sisters, Kai’s relationship with the two sisters, Marian blackmailing Gus, kidnapping Cia and putting her up for sale at an unofficial Hatt auction where Kai claimed her, about her mom’s letters, the mistrust to Uther Hatt, and then the big one, the secret about Morgana’s biological dad being Alexander and not Uther, meaning she’s not Arthur’s twin, but his half-sister.

Most of it is already known, but I know my agápi wants to make sure to get everything out.

“Holy shit,” Remus exclaims, shifting nervously in his chair.

Arthur looks paler than normal. “Well… fuck!” The shout from the Hatt Leader is guttural and filled with the pain coming from feeling betrayed.

Unbothered by their interruptions, Cia continues. “That’s why our dad wanted Morgana to take over as the Drákon Leader.”
