“I was beyond livid that day and it seemed to me like you were doing it out of compulsion,” I stated.

“You must know that I never do things I don’t want to. That entire fight was like the final push I needed to ask you that question. But you just had to make me work for it.” He laughed.

“And look at us now.”

“Your jealous spree got us here. In fact, twice.” He smirked

I knew George would never let me live this down. He was right but I was not going to give him that satisfaction.

“I know nothing of what you speak of,” I replied.

He threw his head back and he laughed. Seeing George laugh so carefree was fast becoming one of my favorite sights in the world. It made me feel good when I saw him like this.

“Thank you for such an incredible night.” I smiled.

“We are just getting started, Katrina. I plan to follow through with every single thing I have ever said to you.”

I gulped.

“You know, we should probably take things slow, George ease into it. I’m sure you understand what I mean,” I said.

“Of course,” he responded. Sex was still a territory that I wasn’t so sure about yet. George had planned this entire date night for me. He had gone out of his comfort zone and done something he hadn’t done in years. “We should get going then.” He smiled.

The rideback to my apartment was a quiet one, but it wasn’t odd. George and I were so comfortable with each other but it still weighed heavily in my heart that he hadn’t said more than two words to me since we left the Golden Fish. Was he mad because I said we should take things slow? Was sex that important to him?

No, George wasn’t like that.

“We are here,” George smiled. Killing the car engine, he walked out of his side of the car and opened my door so I could step out.

George and I walked side by side, but at this point, the silence was starting to seem awkward to me. When we finally reached my door, I was starting to have a rethink.

“Thank you for a lovely night, Katrina.” He smiled, holding my hand in his.

“Why are you being so formal with me, George?” I asked him and he laughed.

“I’m not being formal with you. Heck, Katrina! I’m doing my best here.”

“Your best? What do you mean?”

“It means I’m doing everything I can to restrain myself from taking you right here and right now!” he yelled.

“George, I don’t …”

“You want us to take things slow, but I swear to God Katrina, you are making this almost impossible for me. I want you. I want you so much it fucking hurts. I want to taste you. I want to feel you without this…” He inched closer to me and placed a hand on the rope of my dress. “Without this in the way and my control is already on a thin line as it is. So before I take you, let me just go home and have a cold shower,” he finished.

“Take me, George.”

“What?”

“Take me.” I smirked as I unlocked the door and deliberately took my time walking in.

I heard the door shut behind me and before I could take another step towards my room, George’s strong hands wrapped around my waist and pulled me firmly to his chest.

“You know you seriously drive me crazy and no one has ever done that.” He whispered into my ears.

I could already feel my folds getting completely soaked. With George’s hands on me and him being so close to me like this, I couldn’t think. I couldn’t focus. I tried to wiggle myself out of his grip but he only held me tighter and turned me around to face him. I had to look up at him so we were eye to eye.
