I wove my fingers through his hair. “I’m here now, and I’m not going anywhere. Not ever again.”

As the night air wrapped around us, Drew leaned in, capturing my lips in a kiss that reverberated throughout my entire body. It was the perfect way to seal the promises we’d made to each other. I continued to lose myself in him, and nothing had ever felt so right.

I couldn’t be mad anymore, at him or at the lost time we’d spent apart. Second chances didn’t come around again often, and I didn’t plan on wasting another minute with Drew.

Our past would stay there, right where we’d left it, but our future was brimming with endless possibilities and the promise of forever.

This, part two of Drew and Hudson, was just beginning.

EPILOGUE

Drew

HUDSON’S PHONE PINGING with nonstop notifications had me groaning in my sleep. At first I thought I’d been dreaming it, but no, my boyfriend had forgotten to silence his cell before bed.

Not that I could blame him. I hadn’t exactly let him get more than a foot inside the room before I’d attacked him last night.

I snuggled in closer under Hudson’s arm, content to dream and stay in bed for a little while longer.

But then the blasteddingssounded up again, damn them.

“Turn it off,” I mumbled, shaking his side.

That woke him enough to reach for the phone and shove it under his pillow, and then he shifted to wrap his arms around me. His breathing was still slow and heavy, and I found myself drifting back to sleep…

This time when notifications pierced the air, it wasn’t from Hudson’s phone—it was from mine.

I reached out to feel around the side table for my cell but ended up knocking it on the floor with a thump.

“Fuck me,” I muttered, kicking out in annoyance before sitting up.

As I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, Hudson’s fingers trailed down my spine to flirt with the cleft of my ass. “Pretty sure I did that several times over last night. I’m surprised you can move.”

“It’s not without difficulty.” I smirked before leaning over the bed and snatching up my phone, and good God, I could feel every aching muscle in my body.

It was totally worth it.

I fell back onto Hudson’s chest and tapped the screen, fully intent on turning everything to silent, but when I accidentally clicked on one of the notifications, I woke up real fast.

“Um, H?”

“No.”

“You should check your phone.”

“I’m good.”

“Just do it.”

“Unless there’s impending doom from an asteroid heading our way, I don’t care to know. Actually, not even then.” He threw his arm over his eyes, and I went back to scanning over what I’d been sent.

“You might care about this.”

“Drew.”

I leaned over the top of him, dug his phone out from under his pillow, and set it on his chest. “Just look.”
