Rayne laughed. “Not many people do. Mostly I help people clear energy and emotion through their body, so everything works smoother.”

Peyton leaned over and rested her head on Rayne’s shoulder. “She did a treatment on me tonight, and it was amazing. I was blissed out when she was done.”

“Blissed out, huh?” Ryan’s dick twitched at the satisfied way Peyton described how relaxed she felt. Her voice had gone all soft and husky.Fuck, she was sexy.

Peyton lifted her head from Rayne’s shoulder and shifted closer to him. “Yep, blissed out. You should have been there.”

“I’m sorry I missed it.” He’d seen what she looked like post orgasm. Did whatever it was Rayne did make her face look the same? Damn, he really wished he’d seen her post woo woo whatever.

“Sign me up,” Gonzo said.

Rayne pushed her hair off the side of her face. The bangles on her arm clinked together as she moved.. “I know it sounds a bit strange, but it really works.”

“Oh no, I’m totally down for anything that Peyton says makes her feel blissed out. Plus, you do yoga, so that means you’re like super bendy, right?” Gonzo waggled his eyebrows and grinned.

“No,” Ryan growled at him.

“What?” Gonzo raised his palms in question. The picture of innocence as he blinked at Ryan.

“Just, no.” Ryan stared down his teammate. Gonzo was not hitting on Peyton’s best friend. He was still trying to figure out what the hell was going on with them. The last thing he needed was Gonzo hooking up with Peyton’s friend and things getting awkward when they went their separate ways.

“How many drinks have you had?” Ryan asked Gonzo.

“I don’t know a couple. Why?”

“Bendy, Jesus,” Ryan muttered. “You’re switching to water.”

Gonzo chuckled. “Message received, Ry. I hear ya.”

He felt Peyton stiffen beside him. Following her gaze, he spotted Andy and Johnny in the corner playing pool with a group of women fawning all over them. Honestly, could he really blame Peyton for not knowing the guy was married? Both he and Johnny certainly acted single.

“He’s unbelievable.” Peyton shook her head as she stared towards the back of the bar.

“Who?” Rayne’s attention snapped back toward Peyton.

“Simon.”

Rayne pivoted in her seat. “He’s here? Which one is he?”

“The dark-haired guy playing pool with the blonde wrapped around him,” Peyton replied.

Rayne’s face scrunched up like she’d sucked a bucket of lemons. “Ew.”

Kendall snorted loudly. “Looks like you’re an upgrade, bro.”

Rayne spun back toward him. “Oh my gosh, you are an upgrade for so many reasons. The fact you’re actually single is just one of them.” She turned to Peyton. “Seriously, Pey, really?”

“Obviously now I can see how skeezy he is, but he seemed nice at the time.”

“Yep, Andy’s a real gem,” Pete said, eliciting a laugh from Gonzo and Smitty.

“His aura is all mucky and gross.” Rayne stared at Peyton. “You really couldn’t feel that after all the times I’ve made you go to events with me?”

Peyton squirmed on the seat beside him as everyone watched her, waiting for a response. Ryan shifted so their fingers touched against the bench and her hand twitched, moving closer to his.

He looked over at Andy. Sure, the guy was a dick, but as far as he could see there was nothing visibly gross or whatever Rayne had said about him. Could Peyton see that kind of thing too? Rayne seemed surprised she hadn’t noticed it, but if she could why didn’t she avoid Andy?

“Okay, so this aura thing, how’s that work? What’s mine look like?” Ryan wasn’t sure what it was supposed to look like, but how she described Andy’s didn’t sound good.
