Maggie waved a hand. There was a rush at the bar. “I have to go.”

Grave stroked a hand over my arm. “See you later.”

Now that they were here and their eyes were on me, the minutes flew by. I never cleaned and closed so quickly, practically shoving Maggie out the door so I could change and go onto the stage.

I turned on the flowing music I often used when I danced for them. Slow and sensual, emphasizing what we were about to do. Even after all this time, I loved their eyes on me.

Glancing out at them, there were only four of them there. I frowned. Who left? Was there a change of plan?

I lowered myself to the floor, doing a slow spin with my feet on the ground, checking to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me.

No, there were only four out there.

Where was my fifth mate?

I felt him before I saw him. Hand in my hair, pulling me back and pressing a bottle to my lips. The liquid ran down my throat before I could even process what had happened. Stumbling into the pole and hanging on, I saw Grave come with me as I fell. He winked. “Here we go,sulela.”

They tricked me.

I smiled as I fell into darkness.

My body was heavy. A groan worked its way out of me as I came to the surface, chills covering my skin. I was cold. And…

My eyes opened to bars.

Abigcage. Upstairs on the top floor of our building. There was plenty of room to move in this cage. A metal collar already ringed my neck. I only saw a flash of skin before complete blackness darkened the room.

Magic pulled me up against the bars, and a hand gripped my chin, making me look into eyes I couldn’t see. “What a predicament you’ve gotten yourself into, wouldn’t you say?”

I went with the game, waking up and remembering what was happening. They were about to rock my world, and they’d already had fun with me. I felt it in my muscles and across my skin.

The fingers gripped my chin harder. “You belong to us now. Do you understand?”

When I didn’t answer, he tilted my chin up. “You will speak when I ask you a question.”

Silver was the one who held me now, ready to bend me to his will. “I understand.”

“Good girl.” He ran his thumb over my lower lip. “In case you forget, I love you so fucking much, baby girl.”

“I love you too. I love all of you.”

The darkness in their laughs made my thighs clench. “Tell us in the morning, princess.”

Through our bonds, I felt the shining love between all of us that understood the darkness we all needed. That we were here with each other, and it was all that mattered.

“I will.”

“Good.” Silver’s fingers tightened. “Now open your mouth.”

Smiling, I did.

The End.
