There were club members and prospects outside the clubhouse smoking, and a couple of sweetbutts on laps. The other women didn’t bother me. They weren’t here for my men, and if they were, I’d do what Silver promised to do to any man who touched me.

I’d rip their tits off.

But as I came, one gasped and looked at me. “Skyla?”

Jessie jumped off the lap of a club member I’d seen before at the Crimson Petal and came over to me. “Holy hell, girl, that makes an impression.”

She hugged me, and I hugged her right back. “What are you doing here?”

“Umm.” Jessie blushed. “I’ve been coming here for a while. I’m with him.” She nodded over her shoulder to the man. Fae.

“How come I never knew?”

“It seemed kind of mean to talk about it when you were so into the leaders. And given the rules, I had to keep it quiet. But now that the Crimson Petal isn’t a thing, I don’t care anymore.”

“It still could be a thing,” I said, bumping her shoulder with mine. “But that’s a conversation for a different time.”

“Yeah. You better get inside before your guys come out here and start gouging out eyes.”

Laughing, I winked. “Hopefully that won’t be their first thought.”

“It’ll be one of them,” she laughed.

I went to the door and took a deep breath before I pushed open the door. The first person noticed me, and then the second, a ripple of silence echoing outward as people turned and saw me. My mates were at the bar, mid-conversation, and they were the last to turn, consuming me with their eyes.

Shooting them my brightest smile, I strode across the room, the click of my high heels echoing in the quiet of no speech, only the music playing in the background. The expressions on their faces ranged between awe, disbelief, and outright rage.

Silver narrowed his eyes at my approach, reaching out to yank me against his chest. “I know what you’re doing.”

“What’s that?” I grinned up at him.

“You’re testing me, baby girl.”

Shrugging, I brushed my hair over my shoulder. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. All I wanted was to make a good impression.”

“Mmm.” His nose dragged along my jaw. “I think you were aiming to get fucked again. We’ll see.”

Turning me so I was flush against his back, Silver raised his voice. “Most of you know Skyla. She’ll be here from now on. She belongs to us, and if you touch her…” the threat hung in the air.

Comet laughed, breaking the tension. “Get back to your drinks, assholes.”

Laughter rippled through the room, and people went back to what they were doing. There were women here and there, draped over laps, one making out with a member in a corner.

I spun around, dizzy, before Delta caught me. “I’m torn on whether to make this dress your uniform or burn it.”

“Burn it,” I said. “I dare you. I’ll just buy another one.”

“Is that so?” He grinned. “Maybe I’ll burn that one too.”

Leaning into him, I let go. Tonight I would do everything I’d always wanted to do with them but never could. “According to you, I’m a rich woman now. I think I can afford a few dresses.”

New hands slid down the sheer sides of my dress. Comet pressing me further into Delta. “I think I’m on board with Delta’s idea of a cage now. You deserve to be locked up for wearing this dress.”

“I got all the details on you,” I said. “You and your kinks.”

“Oh?” Comet asked. “Is that so?”

“Steel and bondage, right?”
