“You’ll get bored with me if all we do is hole up in this cabin and fuck all the time.”
I let her go and reached for my watch. “First, that is impossible. Second, we have things to do. I still have to bring you back to Italy. I have an entire apartment in the city waiting for us to fuck our way through. I’m sure you want to spend time with Raven. We could visit The Pendulum. See, there are tons of things.”
Talia started jumping up and down at the idea of The Pendulum. “Really? You’ll take me there?”
“Yes, I will. Not to play. We only do that at home. But there are some other submissives there that you could learn from, and there is nothing wrong with a little voyeurism.” I said with a wink as I clasped my watch.
She threw herself into my arms and I lifted her from her feet as she wrapped her legs around me, placing kisses all over my face. “Come on, we are going to be late.”
Talia laughed as I carried her through the bedroom, stopping by the nightstand for her to grab her purse.
“Put me down!”
“No way. If I do, you’ll get distracted by something else.”
Her laughter as I made our way through the cabin and to the car warmed me in places I didn’t know existed. It was so hard for me to believe that this was the same woman I met months ago, addicted to drugs that were forced on her and threatening me with a lamp. Life does crazy things to a person sometimes. I was just happy Talia brought the good kind of crazy into my life.

Leo’s hand reached for mine as he helped me down from his truck at Noah and Ayden’s place. There was a small white car parked out front I hadn’t seen before and when I looked up at Leo, he nodded.
“She’s already here.”
“I thought we were early.”
“We are, but my mother has no concept of time and very few boundaries.”
He gave my hand a quick squeeze before we made our way up to the door.
“Ding dong, asshole!” Leo shouted as he walked into the place like he owned it. I cringed at him cursing within earshot of his mom and for him walking right into Ayden’s home. To my surprise, I found her chasing after what had to be an angry-looking cat.
“He’s in the kitchen!” she shouted as she zoomed past us and made a dive for the furball.
“I didn’t know they had a cat.”
“According to Noah, it’s a demon, not a cat. I forgot all about it the last time we were here.”
We turned the corner to the kitchen and found Noah pulling something from the oven. A small woman with light skin and dark hair came rushing to me, pushing Leo out of the way.
“You must be Talia!” she said as she pulled me into a hug so tight I could barely breathe. “Never in a million years would I have imagined that both my boys would find the women of their dreams.”
I stepped back as her grip loosened and she took both my hands into her small ones. “Gosh, where are my manners? I’m so sorry. I’m Anita, Leo and Noah’s mom.”
Then without warning she pulled me into another hug, “Well, fuck it, I’ve never been known for my manners. I’m just so happy.”
I felt Leo’s hand at my back. “Ma, come on, give her some room to breathe.”
I couldn’t help but smile when Ms. Rand seemed to finally notice her son. She craned her head back to take him in completely. “You lost weight, haven’t you?”
“It’s good to see you too, mom,” he said as he leaned down to give her a kiss.
“Ayden, lock that demon back up in the bedroom and get in here!” Noah yelled as he placed a pan with a huge roast on the counter.
“Are we expecting more company?” I leaned in and asked Leo.
“Nah, we just eat a lot,” he gave me a quick wink as his mother pulled me over to the counter to sit with her.
