“That’s kind of romantic,” Diane said. “I would have never expected that with Faith.”

“I totally expected it,” she said. “That dog of hers.”

“The point is,” Gavin said, “she tried to say it was all her, but I set the record straight. I had this in motion years ago.”

“I’m letting Gavin have his moment, but Faith was right. She got there on her own.”

There was a lot of laughter to that. “Jolene never admits anyone else is right. You need to mark your calendars on this one,” Gavin said.

“Whatever,” Jolene said, waving her hand. She’d let it go for now. “Fill me in on what is going on there. Trent’s setup and Elise’s setup? Anything? Two at once sounds fun. I should try that.”

“Progress and nothing more to report that you don’t already know,” Carolyn said. “Again, hard to do these when we aren’t around them more. Maybe you need to have these conversations with our husbands. They will say it’s more about them now.”

Jolene laughed. Somehow her brothers-in-law were having more fun than the rest of them.

“However it gets the job done, that is all that matters,” she said.
