"Roberto and Luca." Antonio didn't elaborate further, just saying the names as if he were talking about what he would have for breakfast. Roberto and Luca were cousins of his. They were the younger sons of his uncle Massimo, twins with a lethal instinct and deadly accuracy.
"I'd feel better if Miko or I went with you too."
Antonio shook his head, shooting Cormac down with barely even a second thought. "I need you here with Alexis. She is the priority."
"I understand that Tony, but Roberto and Luca are loose cannons. You can't take them to Annaleise and expect there not to be a bloodbath."
"That's what I'm hoping for." A wicked grin spread over Antonio's face as he rose. "She needs to pay, and I need information from her. Luca is the best at getting that information. Now, I'm leaving. End of discussion."
I watched him leave his office with a determined stride and shook my head. "Too fucking stubborn."
"Going to get him killed someday. Either that or his pride. Fuck it all." Cormac threw his hands in the air and walked out of the room.
Fuck this shit. I was going back to bed. If Antonio wanted to go off all half-cocked at Annaleise, that was his prerogative, but I wouldn't stand by and twiddle my thumbs.
I would crawl back into bed next to Alexis and wake her up with my tongue on her pussy.

Iwas barely able to stay calm enough to leave the penthouse. My rage was like a burning inferno, blazing out of control and making my blood run hot in my veins.
Annaleise had gone too far this time.
And now she was going to pay. I'd make sure of it.
As the elevator descended to the underground parking garage, I typed away on my phone, preparing Roberto and Luca for what was coming.
Of course, they were both more than up for the task. Hell, they were practically giddy with excitement.
Any opportunity they got to torture someone was a great day in their books.
With long, purposeful strides, I made my way over to my Aston Martin. I didn't drive it often, but I needed speed and agility today. The drive to the safehouse would be perfect to clear my head and lower my blood pressure.

The more I thought about Alexis reading that message, the angrier I got.

An hour later, I pulled off one of the backcountry highways and traversed the long driveway. Evergreen trees made the property secluded. Secret enough for our deals that needed to stay off-grid.
