“They absolutely do,” I say, pulling his beard and forcing him to kiss me. “You want to move into this house with me? Or are you attached to your waterbed?”

I’m joke, but I’m also serious. I know it’s crazy but I’ve never been more sure of anything. My heart is jumping at the chance to belong to him.

“I’m wherever you are.” The kiss he give me isn’t on my lips. It’s gentle on my nose, and the gesture makes me swoon.

The next one is on my mouth, and it quickly turns deep and owning. I feel it through my bones. I’m his.

Tomorrow holds such a bright future, and our happily ever after begins now.

My panties are off, and his boxers are kicked down. We make slow lazy love for hours then hold each other tight while we drift off to sleep.

We got a late start to our day, but even with the promise of gold and riches, I wasn’t in any hurry to let Meno out of my bed. From the moment I tasted her sweetness for the first time, I’ve been a man addicted. Her gorgeous eyes were still closed when I crept beneath her sheet this morning to wake her. She thanked me for hours as we lost track of everything else, while in the throes of our passion.

My neighbors who reside at the docks where I park my small sailboat, definitely heard all the commotion. That was evident by the smiles as they waved good morning to us, with words of congratulations.

“Tonight, you’re squeezing into my van, big guy. That was officially the most awkward walk of shame of my life.”

“And the last,” I growl down at her, joking but also not.

She backhands my stomach with a cute smirk, and I take the opportunity to hold her tiny hand in mine. We walk to my jeep then take off for Mistletoe Garden.

Once we arrive, all the madness begins.

“Oh good, the bride and groom are here,” a lady in a sharp pantsuit and short black hair says into her cellphone.

Meno and I glance at each other when we see the crowd of people. Not exactly ideal for snooping around for treasure.

“Is that movie, Hooked on the Holidays, shooting here today?” she asks, mentioning the film that’s taken over the island for the past few weeks.

“Looks like it.”

“Okay, you two, you’re an hour late. Please hurry up,” the lady in black says, scooting us toward the chapel.“the stylists will find you inside and fix you up. We really need to hurry. We’re losing light.”

“I think you have the wrong people,” Meno insists.

“With all due respect, ma’am, we’re not going anywhere with you.”

As soon as I halt us, placing Meno behind me, I hear the shrill laughter of my annoying-ass sister. Love her.

“Guys! We need your help.Envy Fashion Magazineis here to shoot photos of Daphne’s Wedding dresses. You remember her, right, Milo? She runs Whimsical Wedding Gowns, the boutique store in town.

“Yeah, Daphne’s great, but I’m confused. What’s going on?”

“Um, okay, I’ll “bro” it down for you,” Robin teases, making me roll my eyes. “Everyone’s beloved sunshine neighbor has a once-in-a-lifetime chance for her wedding dresses to be featured in a fashion magazine. It’s the equivalent of the Super Bowl for her career.”

“And what do we do exactly?” Meno asks.

“Oh my gosh, you’re the sweetest. Better lock this one down, brother,” Robin jokes, but I would marry Meno in a second. “All you have to do is wear a beautiful wedding dress and pose with my handsome, bearded brother while the magazine people take your picture.”

“Why aren’t the models here?” I ask, though Meno looks as if she wants to do it. The thought of her in a white dress is tempting, but it won’t be real.

“The famous and ultra chic, Gorgio Grayson and Anna Cole flew in with the magazine reps and photographers, but they got sick. Suspected food poisoning. They’re both holed up in their hotel rooms. We need you.” She gives me puppy dog eyes. They don’t often work because she’s such a smart ass and I don’t believe her.

“What’s all this to you?” I ask her.
