"I'm glad you didn't," Oaks said as he moved to grab the spatula. Dad batted at him playfully, refusing to give in.

"Fine, fine," Oaks gave in. He gave me a wink before heading for the pool, stripping his shirt off as he went. Oaks was the skinniest of the group but even his muscles had me drooling.

He ran then, tucking his legs in as he launched into a cannonball, splashing the entire crowd around the pool as well. Their protests and laughter filled the air.

"I'm loving every minute of this," my dad admitted. "I've always wanted a big family. It never worked out for us, but we were just as happy with you two. Who knew I just had to be patient."

"Patience isn't our strong suit," I snorted. We were both stubborn to a fault.

"Though, if they're in your pack, why are they still stalking you?" my dad asked. It was as if he just came to the realization that was absurd.

Ice poured through my veins as I turned to him. "What do you mean? No one is stalking me."

My dad's face paled. "No, look at this." He pulled out his phone, hitting the app for his porch camera. He flipped through a plethora of videos until he found what he was looking for. Of course it couldn't just be a cute raccoon video or something, where they set it off while nibbling on treats.

He held it between us as the video started. A car drove by and he pointed to it, waiting as he flipped through several more, all showing the same car at different times of day. You couldn't see who was inside, but I knew one thing for certain... it wasn't my guys.

The bond must have been stronger than I realized. Amos and Isaac were at my side in seconds. Amos rubbed absently at his chest, right where mine felt like it was cracking under a vice, making it hard to breathe.

"What's going on? I can feel your panic," Isaac asked, looking between us.

Dad took over for me, giving them a recap and showing them what we just watched.

"I don't recognize the car, either," Isaac said. "Why do you think it's for her?"

"It started right after she stopped by to visit the other day," Dad explained.

"You mean when I brought Mom coffee the day before yesterday?" I asked. Now that he mentioned it, I remembered a car driving past when I got out but thought nothing of it until it slowed down. When I looked, he sped off. I just chalked it up to nosy neighbors.

"Yes," Dad said. "The first time he passed you were here. I went back through the videos because your mom saw it twice before getting concerned. You were gone by then."

"Hey, it's okay," Amos promised. His hands ran up and down my arms when I shivered. Though it wasn't from cold, but fear.

"Could Evrin have hired someone else?" I asked Amos.

"He's still in the hospital," Amos countered. "We've called a few times and he was in therapy or refusing to talk, but he's still there." The most the nurse would do was promise to call when he was released.

That was almost more terrifying. If it was him, we had information to protect us, if it was a stranger... well, it left too many uncertainties.

"We're safe now, there's too many of us for anything bad to happen," Isaac reassured me. "I think we should take you back to your place to pack up some things. You can't stay there if he's following you."

“I’m not staying at the inn,” I protested. “You guys can just stay with me. Or a few of you can, we can always rotate.”

“That’s not a bad idea. You’ll likely be able to pin him down if he stalks you there,” my dad pointed out. “I’ll also be calling my friend at the sheriff’s office and sharing these.”

“Thanks, Dad.” He kissed my cheeks before going back to his grill.

“Guess we know who the flowers came from now,” Amos said, giving Isaac a dark look.

“I’m going to look at the feeds from today,” Isaac said.

Ezra moved to my side, glancing from me to Amos.

“What is it?”

“Apparently, I have a bit of a stalker,” I said, giving him the details. He rushed off to join Isaac, his anger flaring just as quickly as my alphas had. It wasn’t just a pack behind me now, but my family as well.

“I’m going to inform the others,” Amos said, kissing my temple and moving away. I was almost numb as I went to sit down at the table.
