“Katie, how are you?”

“Going crazy. Listen, Damien, Leo wants to bring the wedding forward to this weekend. You have to help me.”

“It’s almost done. There’s no way he can force you into this; we have him in so many ways. The main one being that you no longer use the name, Katherine. You go by Katie; your bank accounts all have Katie as the name, and so does your driving licence. The letter you signed saying you would marry him was signed with the name Katherine; therefore, that is no longer you. Legally you can walk away; I just need to ensure there are no comebacks. Once we get you to England, there’s nothing he can do. Hang tight; we have a plan. You will be home by the weekend.”

“Oh, I hope so, Damien.”

“Stay safe; I will see you soon.” Just as I end the call, Leo bangs on the door.

“Katherine, Let me in now!”

“No. Go away.”

*Crash* Leo kicks the door, breaking the lock, it swings open. I sit on the bed with my back to him, pretending to be unphased.

“Why are you ignoring me?” I stand and go to walk out of the door. He grabs my elbow as I pass. “Do not walk away from me.” My eyes snap to his, a dare for him to challenge me. A smirk rises on his lips.

“Oh, dear Katherine. Do not tempt me.”

“Urgh.” I shrug out of his hold. Trying to cover up the reaction of my body to his words. He’s quicker than I am. He makes it to the door first, slamming the broken latch back into the door frame.

My hand reaches the handle to pull it open, but he spins me around so my back is against the door. With his body pressed against mine, one hand takes my jaw, and the other leans on the door above my head.

“I don’t like to be disobeyed. You need to learn to respect the Guerra’s.”

“In that case, you need to respect me.” His eyebrow raises. “If I am to be a Guerra, you need to show me some more respect.”

“I will not have you arguing with me in front of people on my payroll.”

“Fine, I will save it for here. Respect is earned, Leo. You have earned none from me.”

“What do you mean?”

“You are forcing me into a marriage. Threatening me with goodness knows what if I don’t.”

“I have only brought forward the inevitable. What is the point of waiting? We have wasted enough time apart already.” He trails kisses along my jaw, making my frustration disperse. Is what he says true? If I had a choice, would I marry him in time anyway? It is what my teenage dreams were always made of. Leo and I married, spending the rest of our lives together, living in a vineyard in Italy. It is my dream come true, only with a few major additions. They say you should be careful what you wish for; I should have been more specific.

“But it isn’t what I want.”

“Oh, it is. Look at how your body reacts to me.” He trails his fingers down my arms. Goosebumps cover my skin following the trail.

“You belong to me, Katherine. You just need to let your mind listen to your body. It knows what it wants. Me.” His mouth crashes into mine. It automatically opens up to him. He’s right; my body is controlled by him. It has a mind of its own.

“No.” I break the kiss and push him away, much to the disappointment of my body. Leo takes a step back. His eyes are dark, with a small smirk on one side of his lips.

“Stop fighting this, Katherine. You need to listen to your body.” Stepping forward again, leaning his body into mine, he grabs both my arms at the wrists and holds them above my head with one hand. It's done so quickly that I gasp at the motion. With his other hand, he undoes his tie. He then wraps the tie around my wrists, locking them together.

“Just relax. Trust your body, your instincts.” You’d think my instincts would be telling me to fight, to run. I’ve just been restrained, but my body is hot and tingling in anticipation of his next move. He then pulls on the tie making my arms stretch up. It's not uncomfortable, but it has really restricted my movements. He fastens the tie to a hook on the back of the door.

“Perfect.” Standing back, he takes in my whole body, which is now warm and needy. He wanders into his wardrobe and returns with another tie. It's black and silk. He strokes it over my skin, my arms, my chest, my neck. It feels incredible. He watches each stroke with such concentration, as if he painting a masterpiece. His mouth takes mine again; my body melts into him. I hear myself moan; my breathing picks up. The silk moves up my neck and covers my eyes. It’s tied at the back of my head. I break the kiss. Everything is pitch black. Just as I’m about to panic, Leo holds my face, his mouth at my ear.

“Just relax. Let your other senses take over. Your hearing, smell, touch. Trust your body.” Then he leaves me. I sense he is still in the room. The sound of him undressing to the side of me catches my attention. I can hear him open each button on his shirt. The sound of the fabric sliding over his shoulder and arms. The connection of the different materials as it lands on the chair he threw it on. The unbuckling of his belt. A zip being unfastened, material against the skin and hair on his legs. All that, as well as the sound of my breathing, which is deeper and louder, and my heart which pounds in anticipation. My nose tingles with the smell of his aftershave as it gets stronger. He’s coming closer. My hands are unhooked from the door and placed around his neck. My mouth searches for his; it finds it as hungry as mine is. Fingertips trail down my arms onto my shoulders. The hairs on my skin stand to attention, and a little shiver ripples through my body. His fingers find the zip on the back of my dress. The lack of straps means he can easily remove it from my body. I step out of the dress while he holds me steady, my arms still around his neck. My body leans into his. It’s met with the most intoxicating warm skin. I melt into him, trying to touch his body with as much of mine as I can. He guides us away from the door. He arranges my body so I’m straddling a chair, my arms still tied and hooked over the back of it. I feel his lack of presence while I hear him in the bathroom. When he returns, his hands cover my shoulders and begin to massage. A moan leaves my lips as I feel all my tension leave my body. His thumbs work magic up the spine in my neck, releasing knots and loosening my movements. The smell of coconut from the oil he rubs on my skin, mixed with the smell of Leo, makes my mouth water. The sound of our moans appreciating each other’s bodies fuels the need to touch him, to taste him. His hands move down my arms; I push back as his body gets closer.

“I need you, Leo.”

“I know you do.” He lifts me off the chair and carries me to the bed. He lays his body over mine. My hips buck, searching for the release it craves. My heat finds his hard length, and I wrap my legs around him, squeezing him into me.

“My desperate girl. I said you wanted me. I know your body more than you know it yourself.” It’s true. My body betrays all logic, all common sense. It wants him, only him, and it wants him so badly I think I may cry if he doesn’t take me right now. He pulls away, and my body instantly goes to find him. It doesn’t need to search far. He is knelt in between my legs, his hands find my thong and remove it. I spread wide for him. The groan of appreciation spurs me on more. I lift my body, wrapping myself around him once more.
