I scan the room. My brow furrows when I notice the empty boxes on the floor. I step closer and note my reading glasses on the bedside table, my pajamas folded on the pillow.
“What are …?” My voice trails off when I realize she’s folding my clothes and placing them in her drawers. “Those are mine.”
She holds up a t-shirt. It appears gigantic compared to her small stature. “I’m aware.”
“Explain.”
She rolls her eyes. “Isn’t it obvious?” She motions to the closet I didn’t notice is open.
“My clothes are in there, too.”
“Way to state the obvious.” She shakes her head. “I guess I have to explain things for you. I moved you in.”
“You moved me in?”
“Do you need me to speak slower? Enunciate the words clearer for you?”
I’m on her in two steps. I wrap an arm around her waist and lift her up onto the dresser. “Smart ass.” I kiss her forehead. “I was planning to ask you to move in with me today.”
“I know.”
I frown. “Who told?”
“I think the question is who didn’t tell me.”
“I’m going to kick their asses.”
She frames my face with her hands. “Why? We both got what we wanted.”
I move closer and she wraps her legs around my middle. My cock feels her warmth and hardens.
