“Do you think they’ll have a place for us?” Simon whispers. “This place looks jam-packed even though it’s barely dinner time.”

“It’s always like this,” I say as a waitress approaches us.

Her mouth hangs open as she stares up at my mates in their formidable uniforms. Gradually, her alarmed expression relaxes, followed by fascination and desire.

“Do you have a table to seat all four of us?” Seth asks.

“Four?” The young waitress looks around before her eyes finally land on me. The tiniest of frowns twists her lips. “For you and your friend here?”

“My brothers and our mate, yes,” Seth says, unconsciously correcting her. “Is there a table available for us?”

My smile grows bigger as the waitress stares at me curiously.

“This way, please,” she finally says, leading us through the crowd to reach a table in the far corner. “This is the only one available at the moment.”

Seth nods, absolutely unaware of the waitress’s interest in him. Oliver and Simon aren’t as oblivious as their brother, though. They know exactly what’s happening.

Oliver grabs my arm, holding me back slightly as Seth walks away to sit at the table.

“He’s always like this,” he whispers. “He has no idea that a woman could be interested in him.”

“That’s why he’s been a virgin all his life until he met you,” Simon says, chuckling hard.

While the twins laugh, I feel a fierce possessiveness over Seth. I’m glad no one else laid a finger on him. Seth is mine and mine alone.

“Come on,” Oliver says, pulling me forward, jolting me out of my crazy, jealous thoughts.

The moment we’re seated at the table, Simon snatches the menu card from the waitress. Without a second look at her, he starts perusing the dishes.

“I’ll give you a minute to decide on your order,” the young woman says, smiling at Seth who’s completely absorbed in the menu in his hands.

“I wish she’d leave him alone,” I mumble.

“Excuse me,” Oliver speaks up. “Could we have a different server?”

“Huh?” The woman stares at him. “Is something wrong?”

“Our mate would like the hottest guy in the restaurant to wait on her,” Oliver says, making Seth and Simon look up at him. “Her whim is our command.” He flashes her a bright grin while she stares at him with an open-mouthed look.

The woman glances at me. Despite wanting to hurl a curse at her, I smile sweetly.

“Sure...I’ll see what I can do...” the waitress mumbles and stomps away.

“What’s the matter with you?” Seth hisses from across the table.

“What the matter withyou?” Oliver retorts. “That lady was making a pass at you and making Rory uncomfortable.”

Seth’s confused look is all it takes for me to laugh out loud. He’s so big and scary-looking to the world but to me, he’s the cutest and sweetest man.

“Was she bothering you?” Seth asks, looking worried.

“A little,” I confess.

“I’m sorry, love,” he says, reaching for my hand. “I had no idea what was happening.”

“It’s all right,” I say, smiling warmly. “Nothing matters as long as you guys stay with me.”

“We’ll always be with you,” Seth says, bringing my hand to his lips.
