When I get her off me and stand, she looks at me surprised. “I want to taste you.” I get on my knees in front of the couch. “Spread your legs, baby girl.”

I don’t waste a moment before covering her with my mouth. Her arousal tastes like sweet nectar. I softly bite her clit, making her moans sound like screams. She shivers as I blow on her. I lick, suck, and bite. Her body is screaming for release, but I’m not ready for her to come. I slide two fingers inside her. She tries to take control by moving.

“You know better, baby girl.”

“I need you inside of me right now,” she demands, her words breathless.

“You aren’t ready.”

I continue mercilessly until she screams my name. As her orgasm takes hold of her, I stand, then sit on the couch. I place her on my lap, so her back is to my chest.

“I want you to ride me,” I order her.

“With pleasure.” She moans while taking control.

She slides me inside, then digs her nails into my thighs.

It doesn’t matter that I only had her a few hours ago—I can’t get enough of her.

Sometime Later…

“Where are you going?” I ask Ava as I step into the bedroom from the shower.

“I’m checking on our children.” She smiles, but it seems off.

“What’s wrong?” I stride toward her.

“Oliver called while you were in the shower.”

“What did he want?”

“He said to pack bags for the kids and me. Something about implementing Code Black.”

I freeze at her words. “Are you sure Oliver said Code Black?”

At the last second, I change direction and head for my cell.

“Yes, why?” There’s worry in her voice.

“Something is wrong. Code Black means we’re out of time.”

“I don’t understand. You’re not making sense.”

With my cell in hand, I stop at her side. “It means there’s an attack coming or already here. You remember our contingency plan?”

She nods. “Yes.”

“Then you know what you need to do.”

Tears form in her eyes, “Promise me you will keep yourself safe. You won’t do anything stupid. We need you alive.”

As I stare into her eyes, for the first time in my life, I’m afraid this is a promise I can’t make. “I’ll try to come home to you and the kids.”

“That’s not what I said.”

“It’s all I got, Ava” I hug her tight, and we’re silent for a few seconds. “Pack the kids and be ready to leave at any moment.”
