Diverting into the bathroom, Evander perched her ass on the counter, leaning her back against the mirror taking up the majority of one wall. The lights flickered on automatically, shining off the marble fixtures and gleaming floor tiles.

The shower was big enough to fit six of the NFL’s finest.

Evander wasn’t so arrogant that he believed flying on a private jet was his right. He’d traveled on commercial flights before, but when a man of his height was crammed into a seat for any amount of time, even the shortest flights were uncomfortable.

Spreading paste on his toothbrush, he managed to replace Callie’s thumb with it. She moaned sleepily in protest as he gave her teeth a thorough clean. In his opinion, waking up with a vomit-tainted mouth was simply a vile experience.

Patiently, he roused her until she was alert enough to rinse and spit. She sat quietly on the toilet when he moved her across, uncomplaining when he tugged down her pants. Holding on to his hand for balance, she swayed slightly as she peed.

Once she was tidied up, he decided to go the whole hog and stripped her to the skin, picking her up and hitching her on his hip. If Elias saw her, he was discreet enough that he wouldn’t mention it—to her, at least.

Evander was sure his friend would raise the question of whether he’d share her or not. It wouldn’t be the first time—there was an exquisite beauty in fucking a woman with another man. It became a dance, a complicated waltz where the finale depended on the three players on stage coming together in unison for maximum impact.

Callie’s innocence might not hold up under that pressure; that was a risk they’d take if they got to it. Besides, he wasn’t too keen on sharing her with just anyone…with her, the brightest star in his universe, there was only one man he trusted.

The water and juice were on the bedside table. The dark red covers were drawn down, the blinds over the small windows blocked the late afternoon sun, and Elias had switched on the bedside lamp. Between the pillows, a rotund silver-fluffed elephant was nestled.

He sat Callie’s bare ass on the edge of the mattress and grabbed the glass of water first. Pressing the rim to her lips, he braced her head so she didn’t choke. Half a glass of water went into her, followed by almost all of the juice.

Satisfied she was hydrated appropriately for now, he eased her back onto the bed, tucking her stuffie under her arm. Resisting the urge to skim his fingertips over her breast where the skin was soft and smelled fucking delicious, he tugged the covers over her.

Her thumb slid straight back into her mouth.

When his cock jerked in appreciation of the visual, Evander sighed and brushed the back of his fingers across her cheek. There’d be no mile-high club today, but that was fine; Callie needed rest more than orgasms right now. “Sleep tight, sweetness.”

He flicked off the lamp, sending the room into a twilight darkness.

Leaving the door open, he made his way back to his seat to tackle the mountain of work that had accumulated over the past four sex-filled days. As easy as it might be to blow it off and go back in there with Callie, it would still be waiting for him.

Three hours gave him time to put in a massive dent in his workload, if he focused.

With a mutter of discontent, he took a slow sip of the scotch Elias had placed on the table, then opened his briefcase and removed his laptop. Flipping the lid, he booted it up and waited while it went through the motions of connecting to the jet’s wi-fi.

Like a maestro preparing to conduct a symphony, Evander rolled his wrists and flexed his fingers. He dove into the backlog of emails, culling out a selection of random spam before settling in for the long haul.

He fired off replies to his personal assistant regarding several meetings he’d moved to next week in order to view the Denver properties—some of his suppliers were unhappy with the change, but they’d get over it if they wanted to keep his custom.

Two emails were from the realtor, offering him the opportunity to view another property that had just come on the market. After studying the sales brief, he concluded it wasn’t what he was searching for, even if it was a half-million cheaper than the one he had his heart set on.

One of his crew foremen had skipped the chain of command and come straight to Evander with concerns about the quality of a number of building materials acquired from a new supplier.

That simply wouldn’t do.

One phone call later, and his temper was simmering.

Arnie, the foreman at a new build site in South Carolina, had a damn keen eye, spotting defects in two shipments of wooden A-frames for the roof of the retirement home he was in charge of constructing.

Defects, Evander thought grimly, that could cost lives. He let his anger loose once he called the company rep and reamed them out for ten minutes, then turned his wrath back onto the screen as he drafted an email to his division heads, ordering them to double-check the reputation of any new suppliers.

From there, he filtered through the rest, idly sipping the scotch as his fingers tapped out responses.

Two hours into the flight, he was making decent headway, switching from emails to his design program, intending to tweak a few of the initial plans he’d been playing with for the new BDSM club he had in mind.

Movement in the aisle caught his attention.

“Ah…”

Naked, clutching the elephant by its trunk, Callie shuffled forward. Crawling onto his lap, she curled into him and sighed, dropping the stuffie to latch onto his shirt and knead his chest.
